Andrés Galindo Gómez
Neurosomatic Coach & Spiritual Teacher
Andrés Galindo Gómez is a Netherlands-based Neurosomatic Coach, spiritual teacher, and founder of the Andres Galindo online learning platform. Born in 1992, in a privileged Spanish-Mexican catholic family in Xalapa, Mexico, Andrés was raised in a household where science and art met: his mother, a painter and dancer; his father, a biologist and scientist. This unique combination of holistic and empirical perspectives laid the foundation for his lifelong curiosity about human potential, consciousness, and embodied spirituality.
As a teenager, Andrés was deeply inspired by spiritual and philosophical figures and texts—notably Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse, The Art of Loving by Erich Fromm, The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying by Sogyal Rinpoche, the life of Henry David Thoreau who sought solitude in nature as a rejection of industrial society, as well as the revolutionary spirit of Ernesto Che Guevara. These influences sparked his desire to live a contemplative, purpose-driven life aligned with truth and transformation.
At the age of 18, after completing high school, he set out to explore the world, living and backpacking across South America, engaging with Indigenous communities, doing theater, music, and handicrafts. This transformative period inspired a deep paradigm shift in his worldview.
In 2011, he formally embraced monastic life as a brahmacari (Vedic monk), dedicating himself to the Krishna Bhakti tradition and its devotional disciplines across Argentina, Brazil, India, and Austria. Over the next ten years, Andrés immersed himself in Sanskrit scriptures such as the Bhagavad-Gītā, various Upanishads, and the Puranas. He also earned certifications in yoga, meditation, Vedic astrology (Jyotish), Ayurveda, and coaching. His spiritual path, entrepreneurial spirit, and leadership qualities led him to found his own studio, Vedanta Yoga House, in Buenos Aires and serve as a 'temple president', directing retreats, teacher trainings, and community-based spiritual programs.
In 2019, Andrés moved to Austria during the COVID lockdowns and co-founded a small ashram in the forests of Köflach at the foothills of the Alps.
In 2021, he transitioned out of monastic life, driven by a call for authenticity, broader education, and global impact. He began his academic journey at SOAS University of London and completed a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences at Maharishi International University (U.S.A). Over the years, he has pursued further training in Emotional Systemic Integration, Family Constellations, and TRE® (Trauma and Tension Release Exercises).
In 2023, Andrés settled in the Netherlands, launched his coaching business, and began offering workshops in some of Amsterdam's most respected yoga studios. His online Meditation Teacher Training has been well-reviewed and highly regarded since he blends Vedic Spirituality with modern Neuroscience. He also delivers corporate wellness programs in Nervous System Recovery, Burnout Prevention, and Stress Management for organizations in the Netherlands and Mexico. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Spirituality and Religion at the University of Amsterdam (UvA).
A world traveler, lifelong learner, and rooted spiritual guide, Andrés blends scientific insight with intuitive depth. He is a seeker of authentic spirituality, free from dogma and sectarianism, and teaches his students to tap into their inner resources to find balance, clarity, and personal power in an ever-changing world.
