Amber Walker

Owner of Origin Wellness

Amber Walker, PT, DPT, CFMP, CNPT is a Doctor of Physical Therapy graduate of Regis University with a background in outpatient orthopedics, home health, and wellness. She is passionate about a “root of the root issues” approach to healing from chronic illness. Once completely sidelined by the perfect storm of dozens of diseases, she discovered that the body has an incredible ability to heal itself—and reverse diagnoses—when given the right tools.

Since then, Amber created Origin Wellness and completed certifications in functional medicine, nutrition, Mind Body Spirit Release™ (MBSR™) and advanced training in CranioBiotic Technique and nervous system healing. With over 16 years of experience working with clients all over the world, she specializes in conditions such as mast cell activation syndrome, biotoxin illness from mold exposure, Covid long-hauler’s concerns, dysautonomia, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, Lyme disease, autoimmune conditions, and chronic mysterious ailments.

Symptoms like chronic fatigue, headaches, gut issues, and chronic pain impact just about everyone in this modern-day imperfect world. Amber enjoys hosting telehealth groups, 1-on-1 care, and retreats in Mexico. Her mission: Help you go from surviving to thriving.

Amber is the author of “Mast Cells United: A Holistic Approach to Mast Cell Activation Syndrome” (2019), “The Trifecta Passport: Tools for MCAS, POTS and EDS” (2021) and “Full Circle: Inner Work Journal Questions for Expansive Healing from MCAS” (2024).

Originally from Alaska, Amber’s happy place involves mountains or water. In the past she has held roles as the owner of a stand-up-paddling company, a swimming coach, public health volunteer and researcher in Peru, faculty at several universities, and a freelance photographer and writer. She is an avid surfer and enjoys spending time in Mexico year-round.
