A Navy veteran, entrepreneur, author, podcast host, and endurance athlete, Alan’s journey into neuroscience and human performance was born from personal transformation. After navigating years of high-performance stress, unresolved trauma, burnout, and emotional reinvention, he became deeply committed to understanding the connection between brain health, nervous system regulation, resilience, and human potential.

That pursuit led him into endurance sports, trauma-informed personal development, neuroscience education, and ultimately the creation of Neuma, a brand built around the belief that cognitive performance, emotional resilience, and physical wellbeing are deeply interconnected.
