Having a spontaneous kundalini life force awakening, forced her to confront a very tumultuous and traumatic upbringing, uncovering many years and layers of trauma in the psyche and soma. She went on a back packing trip to Maui 25 years ago and hearing whale song for the first time, she heard them say "don't go" and took it as a sign to stay in Maui.
