- Elizabeth "Liz" Williams, Author, Entrepreneur, and Reflective Storyteller, Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine
Elizabeth “Liz” Williams is an author, entrepreneur, and reflective storyteller whose work centers on emotional clarity, self-awareness, and the courage it takes to choose yourself. Through thoughtful writing grounded in lived experience, Liz explores the complexities of love, attachment, identity, and personal growth–particularly the quiet moments when truth is felt long before it is acknowledged. Liz is the author of The Other Side of the Bed: Loving Someone Who Sleeps Next to Another, an introspective narrative that examines emotional entanglement, boundaries, and the internal reckoning required to step out of situations that no longer align with one’s values. Her work resonates with anyone who has found themselves in a “special relationship”–one defined not by labels, but by emotional proximity, secrecy, and unspoken expectations. Rather than positioning her story through blame or victimhood, Liz emphasizes accountability, awareness, and the power of conscious choice. Based in Houston, Texas, Liz is also a multi-hyphenate entrepreneur with ventures spanning beauty, hospitality, and lifestyle branding. Her entrepreneurial journey has shaped her understanding of resilience, reinvention, and the discipline required to build something meaningful over time. These experiences inform her writing, allowing her to connect emotional insight with real-world perspective. Through her articles and reflections, Liz speaks to individuals navigating transitions–whether in relationships, identity, or purpose. She writes for those learning to listen to themselves again, honestly examine patterns, and move forward with intention. Her voice is grounded, compassionate, and direct, inviting readers to sit with uncomfortable truths while offering space for clarity and growth. Liz’s work is not about exposing others or revisiting pain for its own sake. Instead, it centers on self-examination, emotional maturity, and personal responsibility. She believes clarity is a form of freedom and that choosing yourself is not an act of abandonment–but one of alignment and self-respect. Through Brainz Magazine, Liz shares insights on emotional resilience, conscious decision-making, and personal accountability–encouraging readers to honor their truth, trust their inner guidance, and move forward with confidence and integrity. Jessica Echeverri is a clinical entrepreneur, psychotherapist, business strategist, and founder of multiple service-based companies across mental health, court-related programming, equine-assisted therapy, healthcare operations, and business education.
