The 5 time Hall of Famer inductee has astoundingly put together a stellar 21 year basketball career starting in high school as the all-time scorer in points (1,792) at JP McCaskey high school 98’-01, in Lancaster Pa . Johnson earned himself a full athletic scholarship to Rider University 2001-2005, where he graduated with Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Communication. On the court, Johnson compiled Rookie of the Year awards and the first team all MAAC League honors for 3 straight seasons. Johnson led Rider Broncs to two straight first place league titles. Johnson finished his Rider University career 2nd in scoring with (2047)points. A three time team MVP, he was inducted into the Rider University Hall of fame in 2013. In 2005 after such a great college career Johnson was invited to 1 of 2 NBA Draft showcases Portsmouth, after a solid showing Johnson was invited to NBA Summer league with Los Angeles Clippers. With not much success there, Johnson took himself to Europe where he was back in his element,  having success in many Leagues & countries through the Euroleague, Eurocup , Champions League and VTB United League (Poland, Belgium, France, Kazakhstan, Turkey). Johnson went on to become a naturalized citizen of  Kazakhstan, where he represented Kazakhstan for 2 years on national team level. Johnson has had championship  success at the professional level winning the Belgium League Champion (2008-10), Belgium Cup winner (2009), Kazakhstan League Champion (2012-2015), 4x Kazakhstan Cup winner (2011-2014) Johnson was inducted into VTB basketball Hall of Fame (2013). Johnson finished his Rider University career 2nd in scoring with (2047)points. A three time team MVP, he was inducted into the Rider University Hall of fame in 2013. In 2005 after such a great college career Johnson was invited to 1 of 2 NBA Draft showcases Portsmouth, after a solid showing Johnson was invited to NBA Summer league with Los Angeles Clippers. With not much success there, Johnson took himself to Europe where he was back in his element, having success in many Leagues & countries through the Euroleague, Eurocup , Champions League and VTB United League (Poland, Belgium, France, Kazakhstan, Turkey). Johnson went on to become a naturalized citizen of Kazakhstan, where he represented Kazakhstan for 2 years on national team level. Johnson has had championship success at the professional level winning the Belgium League Champion (2008-10), Belgium Cup winner (2009), Kazakhstan League Champion (2012-2015), 4x Kazakhstan Cup winner (2011-2014) Johnson was inducted into VTB basketball Hall of Fame (2013). After establishing an amazing basketball career Johnson hung his sneakers up, retiring from professional basketball 2018. Johnson was also inducted into the 2019 Maac Honor Roll and the Hall of Fame at Prestigious “Ball Hall” Located in Springfield Massachusetts. In 2021 Jerry Johnson was inducted into his hometown Hall of Fame “The Lancaster County Sports Hall of Fame''. Johnson didn’t stop and continued to actively pursue a sports centered career in 2019’ when he was hired as Director of Sports/Boys Varsity Basketball Coach at La Academia Partnership Charter School. It is a school with 200 hundred 6th to 12th grade students without any sports programs for the 20 years of its existence. Johnson was up for the challenge and created a high school varsity PIAA basketball team for the first time in school history. Johnson led La Academia to its first year as a Piaa District 3 Championship in 2020, taking Lancaster County by storm. Since then Johnson has helped multiple scholar athletes get to the college level and created multiple sports at La Academia including baseball and Volleyball. Johnson is the Founder/CEO of iUNGO World, a global sports social media /tech platform.
