Rhiannon Trozzi Andreini, MA, LMHC, is a psychotherapist and business owner. As an undergraduate, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in both psychology and political science where her research focused on the role of emotions in American social movements. She completed her Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling at Boston College and assisted a number of research efforts, most notably co-authoring an article published by the American Psychology Association in the Journal of Psychological Trauma: Theory, Research, Practice, and Policy. From her first position as residential counselor at a treatment center for adolescent women at nineteen years old, she has had the privilege of working and growing alongside a panoply of individuals. Much of her early clinical work provided her experience with primarily dispossessed men, women, and children. Across a number of institutional and community settings, she has fulfilled various roles as counselor, case manager, and supervisor. She has sat with freshmen at an alternative high school and juvenile detention, organized supportive community with recovering mothers out of prison, supported homeless men in mapping their own forward, and held trauma with veterans across three wars. In 2017, she opened a private practice serving individuals, couples, and families. After years of providing both literal and proverbial bandages to people struggling to survive, she has loved the facilitation of more in-depth and long-lasting healing, as well as the challenge of owning and operating her own business. Weaving together knowledge of psychology, institutional dynamics, mythology, and neuroscience, her orientation has become a constellation of modalities rooted primarily psychodynamic relational theory. She remains humbled and inspired by her front row seat to the beauty of human resilience, and most grateful for the ongoing ability to strive for self-actualization daily with her clients.
