Arlene considers herself to be a 'Jack of all trades' who has had an eclectic variation of jobs, including nursery school teacher for 20 years, freelance writer and ghostwriter, event planner, bar worker and in the last 10 years, working with the elderly and those living with dementia.   Her past experiences have given her a very grounded, understanding approach with people, with many referring to her as nurturing, compassionate and patient.
