  • Kirsty Marie Denny, Kinesiologist and Neurodivergence Specialist, Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine

Kirsty Marie is an energetic kinesiologist specialising in trauma, neurodivergence, sensitivity and high intensity parenting.   Kirsty began her professional life as an ecologist due to her love of the natural world and the interconnected web of life. Her healing journey began when she suffered with chronic health complaints in her 20s including debilitating pain, fatigue, anxiety and digestive symptoms. She regained her health through a combination of diet, herbs, yoga, meditation and energy work and began her kinesiology studies.   Cue plot twist! Despite feeling she was well prepared for conscious parenthood, the arrival of her two boys was the catalyst for a devastatingly beautiful vision quest of learning about neurodivergence and uncovering her own deeper layers of emotional healing.   Having walked through the fire, Kirsty gained deep compassion and insight... she now harnesses her sensitivity and holistic vision to guide others.   Diet matters! Supplements matter! Lifestyle and parenting matter! Accepting each individual exactly as they are matters! Brain integration and energetic flow matters! It all matters... What sets Kirsty apart is that her approach is truly holistic, embracing all these aspects and more. She considers how each individual can live their best life transcendent of politics and diagnosis debates. Her approach to kinesiology is especially powerful when it comes to accessing the maladaptive beliefs and trauma that get stored deep in the subconscious…keeping us stuck in patterns of surviving rather than thriving. Kirsty assists clients to tap into their own healing potential; we all have incredible ability to rebalance our brains and bodies and transmute emotional trauma whilst rediscovering the soul’s true purpose.   Some of the issues Kirsty can assist with: - Feeling stuck/directionless/unmotivated - Working with neurodivergent individuals to reduce challenges and embrace their unique gifts (including ADHD, ASD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, hyperactivity, anxiety) - Relationship challenges - Complex post-traumatic stress disorder (CPTSD) - Parenting high needs/high intensity children - Brain integration for emotional freedom and success   Kirsty’s energetic kinesiology sessions are available both in person and remotely. She loves to collaborate with other coaches and lightworkers and hosts a YouTube segment ‘Neurodiversity Controversy’. Her path to becoming a renowned practitioner in Ayurveda, Naturopathy, Yoga, and Energy Work is a story of personal transformation, resilience, and a deep commitment to helping others lead healthier, more balanced lives.   From Finance to Holistic Healing Anna's journey began in the fast-paced world of finance in Paris, where she held a demanding job that eventually took a toll on her health. The high stress levels and long hours led to a series of health problems, including Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), chronic inflammation, kidney insufficiency, and severe anxiety. These challenges were a wake-up call for Anna, prompting her to reevaluate her life and make significant changes.   A Bold Decision to Change Determined to heal herself and find a more fulfilling path, Anna made the courageous decision to leave her career in finance. • Lara Cawthra, Paediatric Chiropractor and MNRI Core Specialist, Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine

Lara Cawthra BSc, MChiro, MCSc (Paeds), FRCC (Paeds), MNRI Core Specialist is an experienced paediatric chiropractor and neurological development specialist based in Camberley, Surrey. With 30 years in practice, Lara has built a respected career centred on children’s health, early development, and holistic, family-centred care.   Lara began her professional journey in health with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Anatomy and Physiology, before completing her Master of Chiropractic degree at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia, in 1996. After initial clinical work in Australia, she moved to the UK, where her passion for paediatric care deepened.   Recognising that many lifelong postural and developmental challenges begin early in life, Lara pursued advanced training in paediatric chiropractic. She completed a Master of Chiropractic (Paediatrics) in 2003, becoming one of the few practitioners in the UK with formal postgraduate training specifically in paediatric chiropractic care.   In 2000, Lara founded Hands on Health – Family Chiropractic Clinic, establishing a welcoming environment focused on gentle, comprehensive care for infants, children, adolescents, and families. Under her leadership, the clinic has earned ongoing recognition for excellence, including the Patient Partnership Quality Mark Award from the Royal College of Chiropractors, reflecting strong patient communication and service quality.   Beyond chiropractic treatment, Lara’s professional interests include neuromotor development, primitive/primary reflex integration, nutrition, cranial therapy and environmental health. She has undertaken extensive postgraduate studies in Nutritional and Environmental Medicine, is a member of the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine, the British Society of Ecological Medicine and holds associate membership with the British Association of Nutritional Therapists.   Lara’s interest in neurodevelopment and reflex integration led her to train in the Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration (MNRI) method. In October 2024, she became the first MNRI Core Specialist in the UK, recognising her advanced proficiency in this specialised approach to neurodevelopmental support.   In addition to her clinical work, Lara has contributed to the profession through education and leadership. She has lectured in chiropractic paediatrics at institutions including the McTimoney College of Chiropractic and for the Royal College of Chiropractors, helping other clinicians frther their understanding of paediatric care. She has also served as a Fellow and former Chair of the Pregnancy and Paediatrics Specialist Faculty of the Royal College of Chiropractors, reflecting her leadership and commitment to advancing standards in paediatric chiropractic practice.   Lara is fully registered with the General Chiropractic Council (UK) and is a member of professional bodies including the Scottish Chiropractic Association. Her multi-disciplinary perspective, gentle techniques, and emphasis on developmental foundations make her a trusted practitioner for families seeking supportive, evidence-informed care for their children.   Whether working with a newborn, school-age child, or teenager, Lara focuses on helping each child reach their potential — combining clinical skill with compassion, clear communication, and a genuine partnership with families.
