In this episode, Candice challenges the traditional hustle narrative and shares why alignment—not overexertion—is the true driver of sustainable success. She dives into how ego can quietly block growth in high achievers, and why learning to release control is often the key to unlocking new levels of opportunity. Candice also explores the concept of “running toward the fire” as a way to build resilience, reframing discomfort as a necessary path to expansion rather than something to avoid. Jeff manages his travel business, Outcast Vagabond, where he provides marketing and consulting services to travel-related brands and individuals. He has been to over 100 countries and aspires to travel to every country and territory in the world. Jeff has worked numerous sales and marketing jobs in different places. He has lived and taught full-time in 3 separate Chinese cities, from 2012 to 2019, and taught online, part-time, from 2020 to 2023, while traveling full-time. Jeff returned to China in 2023 and taught full-time in Wuhan until 2025. Now Jeff lives in Buenos Aires, Argentina and is working with the Argentine tourism authorities and other Argentine travel-related entities to help promote Argentina to the world, while on his 3-year path toward acquiring Argentine-American dual citizenship. Jeff has been a Florida resident since 2012, based out of Miami. Jeff dubs China his “Land of Opportunity” and Argentina his “Promised Land.” He aims to improve Chinese tourism through travel media from his vast experiences in China, along with first-hand testimonies from other foreigners in China to give the rest of the world a more positive and accurate perspective of China. While in China, Jeff started a bi-lingual social network called, “China Social + Travel Network” with the help of an American professor, and hosted bi-lingual events and get-togethers in multiple Chinese cities. Jeff still manages this network with an ongoing virtual project that consists of vlogs from people who are partial to China, and by sharing notable places and events of interest from around China. As an avid investor, Jeff helps to coach others on money management and with investment advice and more savvy spending habits. He has 3 college diplomas; including a Bachelor's in Marketing (SIUC), MBA in Marketing (SFASU) and a MALS degree from the University of Miami. Jeff is a heritage traveler and a culturalist who likes to create travel media content that focuses on peoples’ ancestry, cultural traditions and ethnic identities. He believes that heritage is sacred and that it should be protected and preserved at all costs, and that forcing a person or people to disown their own heritage is sacrilegious. When he travels he visits places of historical significance and likes to immerse himself into local cultures, in efforts to understand why places are the way they are, why people are the way they are and how these places can be better understood by the world. He feels the best way to understand the present in any place, is to first understand its past. He likes to discuss topics such as race, race-relations, gender issues, American politics, Americanophobia, geopolitics, Sino-American relations, Argentine-American relations, global affairs, social issues, controversies, conflict resolution, human rights issues and informational integrity. He has spent the last 15+ years as a White, English-speaking minority in places such as Miami (USA), Mexico, Philippines, China and Argentina, which has given him a very unique perspective on race, culture and his own identity as an American world-traveling digital nomad and expat. Jeff is currently working on multiple writing projects and video series that highlight the past 9 years of his travel experiences that include emphases on heritage, history, storytelling, travel guides, travel and business tips, philosophy, investing advice, etc. Notable travel media projects that Jeff is currently working on are “Heritage: A Travel Campaign,” “Road Trippin’ USA: A Travel Adventure Series” “Road Trippin’ Europe,” “Road Trippin’ Argentina,” “Pictures w/ Stories” and others. Jeff is currently a Premium Member of the notable travel network, Travel Massive, and plans to host and co-host events for them in Buenos Aires in the future. Jeffrey A. - Andrea Adams, Transformational Coach, Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine
Andrea Adams is a Certified Transformation Coach and the founder of The Haamiah Method, a structured yet deeply personal framework designed to help women break free from toxic workplace dynamics, dysfunctional family systems, and emotionally unsafe relationships. Her work is grounded in both lived experience and professional development. After navigating years of emotional manipulation, systemic dysfunction, and complex relational dynamics in both corporate and family environments, Andrea invested in certifications in coaching and undertook extensive research to understand the deeper psychological and nervous system patterns that keep capable women stuck. She distilled this learning into The Haamiah Method, a clear pathway for women who are high-functioning on the outside but emotionally exhausted underneath. Andrea specialises in helping women recognize patterns of emotional control, covert manipulation, people-pleasing, over-functioning, and identity loss. Her approach combines trauma awareness, practical boundary work, emotional regulation, and identity reconstruction. Rather than teaching women to “push through,” she teaches them how to return to themselves. Her mission is simple: to help women rebuild a life anchored in emotional clarity, self-trust, and meaningful, healthy connection, whether in the workplace, at home, or within themselves. Through her coaching practice, Andrea brings language to the invisible dynamics many women experience but struggle to articulate. She is committed to breaking generational cycles of dysfunction and helping women rise beyond the environments that once silenced them. The change begins with you, and the return begins within. The Nurse Who Turned Her Near-Death Experience Into a Medical Thriller - Exclusive Interview with Jenny White The Nurse Who Turned Her Near-Death Experience Into a Medical Thriller - Exclusive Interview with Jenny White Jenny White is a retired Registered Nurse living in Southwestern Ontario. She spent over 30 years working in various settings, including hospitals — ICUs, trauma units, surgical floors — as well as Public Health and long-term care homes (nursing homes). She has vast experience in these settings, working as staff and finishing her career as a Director of Care, managing large nursing departments, as well as a Director of Nursing Services for a for-profit organization overseeing seven of their long-term care homes. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration. After retiring, she discovered that she had a brain tumor wrapped around the carotid artery in her brain, which was life-threatening and required specialized surgery. After her extensive surgery, she was comatose for days, and when she awoke, she found herself tied to the bed, as she had become a disoriented patient, attempting to remove all of the medical tools keeping her alive. Her memories were gone, she did not recognize her husband at the bedside, and she had to relearn how to walk and talk. Over the next year, Jenny had to reinvent herself. Her old hobbies and interests were gone, and she felt vulnerable and lost. That was the turning point: she decided she was interested in writing her story. - Brooke Elizabeth Scarcella, Inner-Healing Life Coach, Executive Contributor at Brainz Magazine
Brooke Elizabeth is an Inner-Healing Coach, who specializes in connection to self and spirituality. Her teachings center around self-discovery, self-worth, self-acceptance, and coming back to the root of who you truly are at your core, to become the outward expression of embodied authenticity and self-proclaimed power. Brooke's ultimate hope is for everyone to connect with themselves deeply, so that as many humans as possible can bridge the gap that separates us from ourselves and our inner knowing. In addition to her mission as a coach, she is an author, podcast host, reiki practitioner, yoga teacher, and NEDA (National Eating Disorder Awareness) affiliate. When Brooke faced the impacts of her early childhood traumas as an adult, she felt lost, hopeless, and disconnected from her body. When she decided to seek out help for her mental health and begin the road to recovery from an eating disorder, something inside of her began to whisper. Little by little, a slight calling emerged from within, leading her to believe that her life was meant for so much more beyond the limitations and boxes she'd placed herself in. She made the radical decision to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so that she could learn to transform her trauma and pains into her purpose, into her power. This pivotal shift led Brooke down the path to where she is today, leading a life of connection to herself on the deepest level. By being willing to do the inner work and take the journey back home to herself, she now lives an empowered life that is limitless. With a mission to help guide others to truly meet themselves fully and connect with the conscious understanding of innate internal worth, Brooke remains a trusted, authentic soul, highly admired by the people she touches the hearts of. Her mantra is "Know yourself, love yourself, trust yourself, discover yourself, meet yourself again and again because it all starts with you."
