When you ponder the word "pact," what springs to mind? Is it a formal arrangement or perhaps an informal agreement? Maybe it's a promise made between individuals or groups, or even as simple as a pledge among friends?

team work, person's hands

"Change your thoughts, and you change your world." Norman Vincent Peale

So, what does making a pact entail, really? Is it about mutual understanding, an obligation to fulfil certain agreements, or perhaps a commitment to one another? Does it lay the foundation for trust? Could it serve as an invitation to embark on a journey to overcome obstacles or act as a wellspring of encouragement and motivation to conquer fears? Is it the key to unlocking the power needed to achieve your goals?

Now, envision applying all these responses, focusing on the positive outcomes such as determination, motivation, belief, and directing them towards aiding people in conquering their current challenges, shedding limiting beliefs, and finding purpose. Do you think it could make a difference?

Consider the value of making a pact. Do pacts create a sense of accountability and motivation? Do they suggest that we're essentially making a promise, which, in turn, can be a powerful force in keeping us on track and motivated to achieve our goals? Do they offer a sense of community and support, allowing us to essentially unite forces with others? Does this newfound synergy provide accountability, ensuring that we're not alone in our journey, enabling us to share our path with someone who can offer support and help us stay focused and committed to our goals?

By combining accountability, motivation, a sense of community, and focused guidance, the concept of "pacts" holds remarkable potential to empower individuals in achieving their goals and realizing their deepest aspirations. These elements, when harnessed effectively, create a powerful synergy that propels individuals towards growth and transformation. But how can we practically apply and implement pacts as a coaching tool?

Hopefully, I have got you thinking by now. The intention is always to challenge how we think. If we pause and take a moment, we often notice, nothing happens. If we stay in the moment long enough, everything actually slows down. Try it now. Find a quiet spot and sit still for a few minutes. Do you find yourself reaching your phone? Thinking about your to do list? Maybe it is just nice to breathe.

Imagine now if you made a pact with yourself to sit for a few minutes everyday in silence with no distractions and just be. Be with your thoughts, be with you. What benefits do you think you get? Clarity? Peace? A break?
