The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him the most, said, “Man. Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived”.

You have it all. Probably some fancy cars, private jet, mega yacht, chalet, cool friends, designer clothes, luxury watches and much more. You always look for top quality and only the best will do. Every little detail counts. You are passionate and persistent to get what you want, except when it is about your HEALTH and WELL-BEING.

Not you? Maybe you are an exception, part of a minority who have a striving business AND a healthy lifestyle. Then I congratulate you on this achievement. Well done.

Most likely you are like some of my high achiever friends and highly successful clients who seemingly had it all ‒ before they had a wake-up call called a stroke and heart surgery. This changed everything and the excuse of not having TIME for self-care was not valid any longer.

Why do I mention this? Not to scare you, but to initiate a few shifts, adaptations, or changes to make a healthy or healthier lifestyle a WAY OF LIFE. Despite lack of time. Despite juggling too many balls already. Despite overwhelm. Despite whatever the reasons (or excuses) are for you.

As a Certified High Performance™ Coach I am aware of the demands of a busy entrepreneurial life. We deal with challenges like lack of energy, lack of focus, lack of productivity, lack of joy together, as a team. Is it easy? Not necessarily. Is it doable? Absolutely.

If you, seemingly, have it all EXCEPT enough TIME for self-care, better fitness and health, you will find these proven and effective SUCCESS FRAMEWORKS, CONCEPTS AND TOOLS extremely useful.

1. Manage your ENERGY and TIME:

We all “only” have 24 hours per day. According to a huge, representative study conducted by my mentor Brendon BURCHARD’s High Performance Institute™ the top 2% of the world’s successful entrepreneurs PRIORITIZE. They FOCUS on the things which matter and here is how to do it.

Firstly, pick your 3-5 “must do” projects or ideas per day.

Secondly, write down 3-5 (or more) necessary, mission critical steps to make them happen. This could be what to delegate, to whom, who to reach out to, what to follow up on.

Third, it’s best to prepare the night before. This may take 5-10 minutes max.

Fourth, think what you are grateful for. Sounds too goofy? Gratitude changes body chemistry and has a beneficial impact on your overall health. It also helps you get more clarity what really matters, what is in alignment with your core values so that you can let go of things and activities which no longer serve your purpose. Learn to say NO more often. Don’t believe it? Give it a go and commit for a week, no, better commit for a month as you are a go-getter. Be prepared to be surprised how your energy levels during the day change, how you are focused and finish meetings and tasks faster.

2. Apply BLOCK time:

This success tool means you block time in your calendar for business meetings (stick to the duration planned), for 2-3 times per day to check email/voicemail depending on your business and your position, and you block time for EXERCISE. Basically, you make an appointment with yourself to exercise, get away from your computer, meditate, stretch, do some yoga, whatever your preference. I challenge my clients to block time for any of the above INCLUDING EXERCISE EVERY DAY!

Obviously, High-Performance Coaching™ is not your regular coaching. It’s like a combination of Life Coaching and Business Coaching, Navy Seals style. It’s about helping already successful performers, entrepreneurs, business owners, athletes, anyone who wants to get more out of life, more money, more energy, more fun, more free time, to get there and reach the NEXT LEVEL.

3. TRANSITION effectively:

Before heading into the next meeting take a few deep breaths, hydrate, stretch, just move your body. Don’t carry the energy of the previous meeting along. Set a clear INTENTION for the next meeting. New focus. High energy. Faster results.
