Hassan Bfly is the founder of the philosophy, Intellectual Righteousness, and author of the book, Theology for the New Millennium. He calls himself a self-taught, non-prophetic messenger of God and is best known for his central analogy, “God is to reality what zero is to math.” Through his book, essays, and old-school rap EP, Hassan reframes God not as a personified figure but as the immeasurable origin necessary for all that is measurable. His work offers clarity to believers, skeptics, and those in between by replacing speculation with logic.

His philosophy can be broken down into what he calls two facts and one opinion. The two facts are, God is to reality what zero is to math, and with God is either Heaven or Hell. The one opinion is that remembering these facts improves life and unlocks a more positive perspective on both living and dying.

Hassan Bfly, Founder of Intellectual Righteousness

Please tell us more about you. What makes you unique?

I stand apart because I do not rely on faith, tradition, or mystical experience to explain God. Instead, I use common sense and mathematics to demonstrate the connection between God as the Creator and zero as math's foundational reference point. Just as mathematics cannot function without zero, I argue that measurable reality cannot exist without an immeasurable origin.

My uniqueness lies in challenging audiences to think past personification and imagination, grounding the concept of God in logic that is irrefutable yet accessible. I am the only person inviting honest and objective scrutiny as a form of validation. The believers aren't supposed to question, and the disbelievers pretend sensory perception is the only form of evidence.

Tell us about a pivotal moment in your life that brought you to where you are today.

A pivotal realization came when I recognized the correlation between God and zero. At first, it seemed blasphemous and disrespectful to God. The more I recalled about zero from my math lessons confirmed I was onto something. As I studied the ancient religions, I saw misunderstood remnants of attempts to say what I stumbled into.

I saw that the natural tendencies of trying to imagine the unseen and personify the supreme can cause confusion and lead to contradiction. By removing all created things mentally, what remains is “none,” the same way zero is necessary for measurement. The truly infinite would have zero finite traits. Since making my breakthrough, I've been committed to my role as a messenger of God, presenting God as the absolute, immeasurable origin rather than a figure constructed from human traits.

What’s your purpose, mission, and driving force for the work you do?

My purpose is to eliminate unnecessary suffering by replacing confusion with clarity. By grounding my message in logic, I offer a path where perspective becomes the key to transforming hardship into strength. My driving force is the conviction that truth matters more than comfort and that truth, once embraced, provides deeper comfort than illusion ever could.

My mission is to share this message with as many people as possible. I wrote the book, Theology for the New Millennium, as a reference to the essentials of Intellectual Righteousness. I wrote it as a speech if I were given an opportunity to speak to a live audience. I made a rap EP in order to drop jewels about the philosophy and continue to write essays and make videos to make it more digestible.

What is Intellectual Righteousness, and who is it for?

I call Intellectual Righteousness a thinking person’s religion, even though there is no dogma. It is rooted in logic and math rather than mysticism and imagination. Applying what we already know about zero to our lives unlocks perspective in a way that affects every facet of existence. If you understand basic algebra and how analogies work, you can understand the philosophy.

There is no singular demographic it is intended for. It provides logical proof of the Creator while shielding from the pitfalls of personification and imagination. It uses the foundation of math as the evidence of an Infinite Origin that atheists have demanded while supporting their criticisms of the personified God. It gives the undecided an understandable reason why God is imperceivable and unimaginable while giving us a way of description without contradiction. At its heart, Intellectual Righteousness invites people to worship the Creator, the immeasurable origin, rather than the created or imagined.

What sets your work apart from others in your field?

What sets my work apart is its refusal to lean on authority, tradition, or dogma. Instead, my message rests entirely on logic. God is to reality what zero is to math isn't metaphorical or poetic. It is an analogy that uses the role a human mental construct plays within the system of objectively describing reality to explain why the finite needs an Infinite Origin that allows description without contradiction. By using already accepted mathematical principles, we avoid the idea that it is just my opinion.

Math's trusted status also brings the theological debate into the unfamiliar territory of clearer correctness or error. There may be some ideas within math that are too advanced to be proven, but its basics are as close to absolutes as humanly possible. Logic can only be used to avoid or confirm my assertions, so I confront evasions directly and invite scrutiny. No one else invites you to a debate where you are the only witness and judge.

What are your current goals for the next year?

My immediate goal is distribution. My book Theology for the New Millennium has been published, my audio-ebook and rap EP are available, and my online presence continues to grow. My next step is to bring these works to wider audiences through articles, interviews, video content, and debates. My focus is not fame or fortune but generating enough traction to sustain my work full-time, enabling me to continue presenting the analogy and its practical benefits to as many people as possible.

In your experience, what are common misconceptions about God, and how do you address them?

The most common misconception is that if God cannot be perceived or imagined, God cannot be understood or proven. I respond by pointing to zero, it cannot be touched or seen, yet mathematics collapses without it. Even though we can only define it according to what it isn't, we are able to describe it according to what it means for everything else.

Another misconception is that “nothing” equals nonexistence. I clarify that “none” simply means the absence of measurable traits, exactly what must precede all measurement. I point out that the truly infinite would not have any finite traits. That is why the Infinite uses the same value as what people try to dismiss as nothing.

What key advice do you have for people seeking clarity about God and meaning?

My advice is to start with understanding the analogy. Remove all created things from thought and ask what remains. Then, recognize that measurement requires a beginning. Just as zero is unavoidable in mathematics, an immeasurable origin is unavoidable in reality. From there, the task is not to invent traits or imagine forms but to accept the clarity that emerges. Truth, I insist, is not opposed to comfort, it is the only foundation for genuine peace of mind.

What’s next, and how can readers engage with your work?

My next flagship project is titled The Greatest Religious Miracle. It is a four-part live speech and musical performance. It will be shot in multiple locations, including Venice Beach Boardwalk. It will add some depth, detail, and personal connection to the already rich array of content that is available.

Readers can engage by visiting my website or following me on social media. I recommend beginning with my book Theology for the New Millennium. For those inspired to go deeper, I invite interviews, debates, and collaborations with communities ready to think outside the box. If the logic holds, share it, and challenge me directly if it does not.
