Gaelle Mokoy is a Marketing and Branding Coach and Strategic Consultant who helps entrepreneurs turn unclear ideas into focused brands, practical marketing plans, and consistent action. Drawing on more than a decade of experience across the public, private, and development sectors, she combines structured strategy with a clear understanding of the personal barriers that can make visibility difficult.

In this interview, Gaelle explains why clarity, integrity, and self-trust matter in business, how her programmes support marketing execution and intentional visibility, and what entrepreneurs can do to build momentum without chasing trends or performing for approval.

Gaelle Mokoy, Marketing and Branding Coach

Introduce yourself! Please tell us about yourself and your life, so we can get to know you better.

I’m Gaelle Mokoy, a Marketing & Branding Coach, Strategic Consultant, and a woman who proudly wears many hats. With over a decade of experience across the public, private, and development sectors, I bring a tri-sector lens to business growth. But more than that, I bring lived experience. I’m a first-generation Congolese-British woman who has built not only businesses but systems around visibility, purpose, and self-trust. I’m equal parts strategist and soul-led guide. That duality is what makes my work deeply transformational.

What’s your purpose, mission, and driving force for all the work you do?

My mission is simple: to help entrepreneurs stop hiding behind performance, perfectionism, and fear and to finally build the brand, business, and life they were born for. I’m here to make sure no entrepreneur ever feels like they have to choose between being strategic or soulful, visible or authentic. I help you build with both. That’s the work that drives me.

Is there a core value that you are most passionate about?

Integrity, both inward and outward. In a world obsessed with optics, I value alignment over applause. I believe your message should match your method, and your strategy should honour your story.

Are there additional qualities that contribute to success?

Absolutely. Emotional resilience, self-awareness, and the willingness to take imperfect yet calculated action are key for me. You can have the best branding in the world, but if you’re afraid to be seen or speak up, it won’t matter. Success isn’t about perfection it’s about showing up consistently with clarity and courage.

What is your business name, and how do you help your clients?

My business is called Gaelle Mokoy Coaching. I help entrepreneurs, especially women, clarify their brand, refine their messaging, and develop marketing strategies that actually convert. I don’t just teach visibility, I coach you through the inner work that makes it sustainable.

What kind of audience do you target your business towards?

I work with coaches, consultants, creatives, and service providers who are in one of three stages: starting and unsure how to show up, growing but not seeing results, or pivoting after realising that their old strategy no longer aligns. My clients are purpose-led, values-driven, and ready to turn clarity into action.

What services or products does Gaelle Mokoy Coaching offer?

At present, I offer three programmes, each designed to solve a specific problem I see repeatedly among early-stage entrepreneurs and professionals.

MAP: Marketing accountability programme. MAP supports business owners who know what they want to build but struggle to execute consistently. It provides structure, accountability, and guidance to help clients stay focused, make decisions, and maintain momentum in their marketing.

This programme is not about information overload. It is about translating strategy into weekly action and removing the isolation that often causes people to stall.

1. PMAP: Project management accelerator programme. PMAP applies project management principles to business goals and complex workloads. It is designed for professionals and founders who feel overwhelmed by competing priorities or large ambitions.

Clients use PMAP to create realistic plans, improve decision-making, and deliver work with clarity and control rather than chaos.

2. The consistency framework for intentional visibility. The Consistency Framework supports individuals who want to show up consistently on social media without forcing confidence or performing for algorithms. It provides a clear structure for 100 days of intentional content based on defined pillars and repeatable actions. The focus is not on virality, but on trust, confidence, and sustained presence.

3. How the programmes connect. Each offer addresses a different stage of development, but they work together. MAP supports marketing execution, PMAP supports structured delivery, and the Consistency Framework supports visibility and discipline.

All three are grounded in the same aim: helping capable people build momentum through clarity, structure, and consistent action.

What are the criteria for a client to work with you?

You need to be ready to take ownership of your brand, not just aesthetically, but internally. My clients are people who care about how they show up, who want to do business with integrity, and who are willing to blend strategy with soul. If you’re looking for a cookie-cutter, overnight success blueprint, I’m not your coach. But if you’re ready for honest support and a customised strategy, we’ll work well together.

Is there a common challenge that your customers face?

Yes a lot of my clients come to me feeling invisible or overwhelmed. That leaves them vulnerable to a lot of stress and potential burnout if they continue in that direction. They have a great offer but aren’t sure how to position it or communicate it clearly. They often feel like they’re doing “all the things” but not seeing results. I help them cut through the noise, simplify their strategy, and show up with confidence and clarity.

What sets Gaelle Mokoy Coaching apart from other services in the industry?

It’s the blend of deep strategy and soul-level transformation. I don’t just give you a plan, I help you embody it. My background across sectors allows me to bring structure and insight that’s rarely offered in coaching spaces, while my lived experience ensures it’s culturally conscious, emotionally intelligent, and rooted in reality.

For readers inspired by this conversation and eager to start their journey, what first steps would you recommend?

Start by getting clear on who you are and what you want to be known for. Don’t rush to build a brand based on trends; build one based on truth. Your truth. Ask yourself: “If I could only speak to one person, what would I say to them?” From there, begin showing up with value and consistency. When you’re ready to go deeper, get support. You don’t have to build this alone.
