What are some of the excuses that you use?

  • I have no time...

  • I have no money...

  • I don't know enough...

  • I don't know the right people...

  • I can't do it...

Whatever your excuses are, you know your excuses better than I do.

Have you ever taken the time to think about what's the weight of carrying your excuses around?

You know some of you have been looking at building your multi-family portfolio for many, many years.

And you're still struggling to get your first deal done.

Within three months of starting my course, I have students making offers, getting offers accepted, and buying buildings. They are getting investors to invest with them. They are doing it and living their dream.

Is it easy? No.

There are always things that are come up, but at least they are moving forward.

And it's ONLY when you move forward that things start happening for you.

So again, what's the weight of carrying around those excuses?

And what are those excuses?

Grab a piece of paper and write them down.

How many things have you told yourself over the years?

  • I am not capable...

  • I am not good enough...

  • I don't know enough...

There are ways to get around that. A lot of it is your mindset.

So that's why I always talk about the mindset. You have to convince yourself first that you're worthy of all the success, and then you have to work on it.

It's an ongoing thing. It's not something all of a sudden you're going to know everything about owning a multi-family.

Heck, there are still some stuff that comes to this day that we don't know dealing with our multi-family units.

But guess what, we have deals that we get to deal with. And that part is the exciting part we got.

Tenants paying off our mortgages, we've got inflationary increases to our buildings, we've got tenant challenges. But you know what, it's all worth it in the long run.

So, get off your excuses and start doing what you are meant to do.
