Emotional work is anti-aging. Everything you’ve experienced is recorded in your body and your auric field. The challenging experiences cause you to lose a bit of your soul. So when we do emotional work, what was lost is returned. It’s soul retrieval. As a result you feel lighter. The lighter feeling relates to youthfulness.

Interestingly this experience of feeling lighter is actually aging you in reverse! For that reason, I put a mirror in my office so that my clients could see the difference in their faces when we finish our work! This type of emotional work is truly a biohack! It’s foundational to all other biohacks. Firstly, because it age reverses you. Secondly, because it sets in motion a cascade of beneficial biochemical releases that move you in the direction of good health. These particular biohacks are possible only with emotional work.

This type of emotional work is a form of soul retrieval. The painful challenging experiences cause you to lose a bit of your soul. In doing emotional healing we retrieve what was lost. When I do emotional work with my clients, I am returning the biophotons that they lost due to stress, anxiety, fear and anger, etc as a result of their negative challenging experiences. These biophotons carry the light of youthfulness.

This hints at the science behind how emotional work is age-reversing. The emotionally challenging experiences that we all have actually ages us. Literally! Fortunately, it is reversible. Doing emotional work age reverses you. Emotional work sets in motion a cascade of beneficial biochemical releases that move you in the direction of good health.

If you give it some thought, you will realize that you have seen people who are experiencing a great deal of emotional trauma and it shows on their face and/or body. You can see the exhaustion, the struggle, the worry, the fear or the anxiety. These emotions take their toll by diminishing one’s youthful appearance, among other emotional price tags and eventually perhaps these stressors take their toll on other body parts like the knee, hip or spine for example.

Often a person’s stressors show up as an unexplained injury to a particular joint. Sometimes these injuries are given a clinical explanation, however, underneath that lies the emotional component that gave rise to it. In fact, there are common afflictions to particular body parts that we have come to recognize as typical expressions of particular emotional trauma.

Often knee issues speak of emotional inflexibility. We see this when a person is unable or unwilling to make the spontaneous shift of direction in life. Think about what the physical knee is designed to do on a physical level and you’ll see the connection. Picture a dancer or a basketball player moving in one direction and then another. It’s the knees that allow for the quick change of direction. Often an issue with the hip or hips might indicate a fear of moving forward in life. Again picture the workings of the hips. You need the hips to take a step forward or backward.

There is a great tendency to see a person’s concern about their lack of financial support feeling that they have to do it all themselves show up as lower back pain. Now when we see upper back pain, that has a tendency to reflect a person’s sense of lacking emotional support. Shoulder issues could indicate that the person feels they are carrying the weight of the world. The correlations are quite interesting.

People have a tendency to muddle through or simply endure the difficulties of life without recognizing the whole picture. But when you do recognize the whole picture and see the impact the stressor has on your physical body, this knowledge has the tendency to cause you to see your life in a different light. It causes you to take stock of your choices realizing that you matter and that your choices have far reaching affects on your life and body. This potentially causes you to reorder your priorities so that you make more sustainable and balanced choices.

This awareness often inspires a person to consider the importance of caring for one’s own emotional health. This is what tends to whisper the idea to find a good practitioner to see in order to clear trapped emotions, do energy work or even hypnosis. It’s very beneficial when a person has the opportunity to clear trapped emotions, learn beneficial techniques to manage life better and find out why they tend to have the same recurring emotional and/or physical issues. Knowledge is power and freedom opens doors! This could be the power to envision the life of your dreams and the emotional freedom to open the doors you thought were locked.
