Dr. Twanna Carter has announced the upcoming Unbreak My Soul Safe Space group session, scheduled for Wednesday, June 4, 2025, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM EST. The event will be held virtually via Zoom and is designed as a healing circle specifically for professional women who have experienced or are currently navigating workplace trauma.

Eight women gather in a cozy room, sitting in a circle with drinks and candles on a patterned rug, engaged in conversation.

This interactive and supportive session aims to provide a space for reflection, validation, and practical healing. Facilitated by Dr. Carter, a certified Unbreak My Soul facilitator and work trauma expert, the group will explore tools grounded in evidence-based research that encourage resilience and emotional well-being.

“Workplace trauma often remains unspoken and unaddressed, yet it significantly impacts mental health and career progression”, said Dr. Carter. This session serves as both a resource and a community for those seeking meaningful support.

Participants will engage in guided discussions, exercises, and reflections that honor each woman’s individual healing journey. According to the event host, "Healing is an art. It takes time, practice, and above all, love." The session’s design promotes an environment where participants are encouraged to reclaim agency and dignity in their professional lives.

Dr. Carter also brings a personal connection to the work, having shared her own story in “Corporate Blues: The Untold Truths of Women in the Workspaces”. Her approach is rooted in compassion and tailored for women who are ready to prioritize healing.

Attendance is by paid registration and spots are limited. Interested participants can secure their place by registering through Calendly. The two-hour session includes access to group discussion, practical tools, and resources for facilitating healing.

Reflecting on the purpose of the session, Dr. Carter stated, “Your healing is sacred. Your thriving is inevitable.” The event is intended for women, who are seeking a confidential and affirming space to begin or continue their healing journey related to workplace trauma.
