Introduce yourself! Please tell us about you and your life, so we can get to know you better.


I’m Beverley Shatliff, a Stress Management Specialist, award-winning entrepreneur, author, speaker, Reiki Master Teacher, and advanced holistic therapist. I’ve spent over two decades helping people transform their lives by finding calm, confidence, and clarity without burning out in the process.


I live in the UK and absolutely love being near nature and water. Open-water swimming is one of my favourite ways to recharge and clear my mind. There’s something about being in the open air and cold water that reminds me how alive and capable we really are. I also love long walks, cosy evenings with good food, and spending time with my family and my dog, who never fails to keep me grounded and smiling.


Outside of work, I’m passionate about travel and personal growth. This year alone, I’ve had the privilege of speaking internationally and filming my 14-Day Perimenopause & Menopause Sleep Transformation course in Switzerland, an experience that still feels surreal when I think about how far I’ve come.


At my core, I believe deeply in the power of healing and transformation. I’ve lived through burnout, trauma, and self-doubt, and turned them into purpose, peace, and possibility. My life’s work is about showing others that they can do the same. It’s never too late to start again, rise higher, and create a life that feels aligned, balanced, and beautifully their own.


For those who don’t yet know you, can you share how your journey began and what led you to where you are today?


My journey started in the corporate world, where I spent 17 years working hard, climbing the ladder, and doing everything I thought I was supposed to do until I burned out. I reached a point where I was running on empty, feeling disconnected and unfulfilled. Deep down, I knew there had to be more to life than just surviving the week and living for the weekend.


That moment of burnout became a turning point. I decided to follow my passion and purpose, helping others heal, grow, and live with more balance and clarity. I took a leap of faith, retired early, and created Green Tree Holistics. It began with a simple desire to make a genuine difference in people’s lives.


Since then, the journey has been incredible. I’ve built a multi-award-winning business, become an international speaker, and worked with professional women around the world who are ready to take back control of their time, energy, and wellbeing. My approach blends holistic therapies, mindset work, and practical stress management strategies because lasting change happens when we align the mind, body, and spirit.


Looking back, that period of burnout was one of the greatest gifts. It pushed me to create the life I have now, one where I not only help others transform but continue to grow and evolve myself.


Tell us about a pivotal moment in your life that brought you to where you are today.


The most pivotal moment in my life came when I experienced complete burnout after 17 years in the corporate world. What made it even more significant was that I’d already been a holistic therapist and stress management specialist since 2002. I knew the tools, I taught the methods, and yet I’d allowed myself to become everything I warned others about: overworked, overstressed, and disconnected from myself.


That realisation was a wake-up call. It wasn’t about starting something new; it was about coming back to who I really was and finally practising what I’d always believed in: balance, alignment, and purpose. I made the decision to retire early and return to my roots full-time, building Green Tree Holistics from a place of experience, authenticity, and compassion.


That moment shifted everything. It reminded me that even the strongest among us can fall out of balance, but with awareness and healing, we can always find our way back. It deepened my empathy, strengthened my purpose, and turned my personal breakdown into the breakthrough that shaped the woman, mentor, and leader I am today.


You recently co-authored the international number one bestselling book Start Over with Sir Marco Robinson. What was that experience like, and what message do you hope readers take from your story?


Being part of Start Over was an experience I’ll never forget. To sit alongside incredible authors like Sir Marco Robinson and share my story on such a global stage was surreal, but it was also healing. It wasn’t just about telling my story; it was about reclaiming it.


For so long, I carried the weight of trauma, shame, and silence. Writing my chapter, Shattered Silence: The Fight to Reclaim Myself, Broken, Bruised, but Never Beaten, was my way of closing that chapter in pain and opening one of purpose. It allowed me to transform everything I’d been through into something that could help others and show that no matter how dark life gets, you can rise again.


From trauma to transformation, that’s what my journey represents. I’ve lived the burnout, the heartbreak, the self-doubt, and I’ve rebuilt myself piece by piece. And now, to be flying across the world, speaking internationally, filming courses, and helping others heal, it’s a full-circle moment I still have to pinch myself over.


The biggest message I hope readers take away is this: starting over isn’t a setback, it’s an invitation. An invitation to rediscover who you truly are, to let go of the old stories, and to create a life that finally feels like you.


Your new book, Unlock the Secrets to Stress Relief, has just been released. What inspired you to create it, and how does it build on the incredible transformation work you already do with clients?


Unlock the Secrets to Stress Relief was born from years of experience, compassion, and a genuine desire to help people feel like themselves again. I’ve seen first-hand how stress slowly steals people’s spark, how it affects sleep, focus, energy, relationships, and health. And I’ve lived it too.


This book is everything I wish I’d known when I was burnt out, overwhelmed, and questioning who I was. It’s not just theory, it’s real, practical, and deeply human. It combines science, holistic healing, and mindset work in a way that’s easy to understand and simple to apply. My aim was to create something that empowers people to take back control of their wellbeing and not just manage stress but eliminate it from the root.


What makes this book special is that it doesn’t just teach techniques, it guides readers to reconnect with themselves. Because when you understand why stress is showing up and what it’s trying to teach you, that’s when true transformation begins.


Your work beautifully combines science, spirituality, and strategy. How do you bring these worlds together to create such powerful and lasting results for your clients?


I’ve always believed that true transformation happens when we treat the whole person, not just the symptoms. Stress doesn’t start in the mind alone; it’s stored in the body, shaped by emotions, and influenced by how we think, breathe, and live. That’s why my approach weaves together science, spirituality, and strategy because they’re all connected.


From a scientific standpoint, I help clients understand what’s happening inside their bodies when they’re stressed – the hormones, the nervous system responses, the cycles of fatigue and overwhelm. Knowledge gives people power. Once they see the ‘why,’ they can start taking back control.


From a spiritual perspective, I draw on Reiki, energy work, and intuitive healing to help people release what they’ve been holding onto, the emotional blocks, the old patterns, and the beliefs that keep them stuck. It’s about helping them reconnect to their own energy and inner calm.


And the strategy side is about action, practical, easy-to-follow steps that build new habits and healthy boundaries. Because healing isn’t just about what happens on the therapy couch or the meditation mat, it’s about how you live, how you think, and how you show up every day.


When these three elements come together, science for understanding, spirituality for alignment, and strategy for lasting change, the results are life-changing. Clients don’t just feel better; they become the calm, confident, grounded version of themselves they were always meant to be.


Can you share a success story where your bespoke coaching program led to a significant transformation in a client’s life?


One of the most touching transformations I’ve witnessed is Dawn’s story. When she first came to me, she was struggling deeply. She felt stuck, exhausted, and had lost all motivation, she even shared that some mornings she didn’t want to get out of bed. Life felt heavy, and she couldn’t see a way forward.


Through my bespoke coaching and holistic approach, we focused on restoring her energy, rebuilding her confidence, and helping her reconnect with her sense of self. It wasn’t just about releasing stress; it was about helping her remember who she really was beneath the exhaustion and emotion.


As the weeks went by, something remarkable started to happen. Dawn began to light up again. Her mindset shifted from “I can’t” to “I’ll try,” and soon after, to “I can.” She started setting goals for herself, facing challenges instead of avoiding them, and believing in her own strength. Her motivation, resilience, and spark for life returned in a way that even amazed her.


Today, she stands in a completely different place, calm, confident, and proud of how far she’s come. She’s proof that when you combine the right guidance with genuine belief and holistic healing, even the darkest moments can lead to the brightest transformations.


Her words still stay with me: “If I stumble and fall, I get up and try again. Beverley helped me physically, emotionally, and mentally and I’ve amazed myself with how far I’ve come.” That’s exactly why I do what I do, to help people rediscover the power and peace that’s always been within them.


You’ve achieved so much across multiple ventures. What daily habits or rituals keep you grounded, calm, and focused while managing such a busy life?


I’ve learned that success without balance isn’t really success at all. So, my daily rituals are all about staying grounded, protecting my energy, and staying connected to myself, because when I’m centred, everything else flows.


Every morning starts with stillness. I take a few minutes to breathe, set my intention for the day, and give gratitude even before I touch my phone or laptop. It’s a simple practice that helps me stay focused on what really matters.


Movement is key for me. Whether it’s open-water swimming, walking in nature, or a quiet stretch on my mat, that physical connection helps release stress and keep my energy clear. I see it as both therapy and meditation.


Throughout the day, I pause often to ground, reset, and check in with how I’m feeling. I’ve learned it’s not about doing more; it’s about doing things with more presence.


At night, I reflect. I write down one thing I’m proud of, one thing I’ve learned, and one thing I’m grateful for. It keeps me aligned and reminds me how far I’ve come, especially on the tough days.


These small, consistent habits allow me to show up fully for my clients, my business, and my purpose. They’re the reason I can handle the pressure without losing the peace.


If you could change one thing about your industry, what would it be and why?


If I could change one thing about the stress management and holistic wellness industry, it would be the idea that healing has to fit neatly into a box. Too often, people feel like they have to choose between science and spirituality, or between traditional therapy and energy work. The truth is, real transformation happens when we stop separating the two and start seeing the whole person.


There’s also a lot of surface-level advice out there, quick fixes, trendy buzzwords, or overly complicated methods that don’t get to the root of the problem. I’d love to see the industry focus more on authenticity and depth, not just what looks good online. Healing isn’t a one-size-fits-all process; it’s deeply personal.


For me, it’s about bridging the gap, combining evidence-based stress management tools with genuine emotional and energetic healing. I want people to know that it’s okay to seek both clarity and calm, structure and soul. When we integrate the mind, body, and spirit rather than choosing one over the other, that’s when lasting freedom and true wellbeing begin.


You’ve had an extraordinary year. What’s next for you, and what are you most excited about in this next chapter of your journey?


This year has been such a whirlwind in the best way. One of the biggest highlights was flying to Switzerland to film my 14-Day Perimenopause & Menopause Sleep Transformation program. It was a truly surreal moment, sitting on that private jet, looking out the window, and realising how far I’ve come from the woman who once burned out in the corporate world.


That trip wasn’t just about filming a course. It was about everything it represented, the healing, the growth, the courage to keep stepping out of my comfort zone, and the mission to reach women all over the world who are struggling in silence. The program is designed to help women finally sleep again, restore their energy, and feel like themselves, calm, balanced, and confident, even though one of the most transformative stages of life.


Looking ahead, I’m focused on expanding my reach globally through speaking, coaching, and collaborations that help people not just manage stress but truly transform from the inside out. There are new courses in the works, retreats being planned, and even more ways for me to connect with the incredible community that’s grown from this work.


But more than anything, I’m excited about continuing to be living proof that no matter where you’ve come from or what you’ve been through, you can rebuild, reinvent, and rise higher than you ever imagined.
