Sheila Jeanette Wood, Intuitive Healing Coach

Your energy work has received global recognition for impactful contributions to healthcare at the Health 2.0 Summit 2025. Why do you think your work has attracted global interest?

My work appeals to all ethnicities and centers on the energies that dictate who we are as soul beings. It is metaphysically based and Spirit-led but is not about any specific religion. While these energy-based approaches are designed for a broad audience, they are particularly appealing to individuals who have an interest in healing practices, the concept of a single source of pure energy, and the belief in reincarnation.

What is your background?

I have a prolific scientific background and have studied metaphysics for thirteen years. My interest in energy healing was piqued by the book The Field by Lynne McTaggart, which led me to realize the scientific basis for energy healing. Specific training that applies to my work includes Certified Life Coach, Certified EFT practitioner, Certified Medium plus Akashic Records reads, and Reiki certification at level II.

What interests you about the work that you do?

I am constantly amazed by the application that ancestral and soul energies have in healing present situations. Our inherited ancestral DNA memories and the need to heal karmic energy from the soul’s presentation play a part in our progress by removing blocks as we live our lives today. I particularly enjoy seeing the results from the release of embedded energies that remain after traumatic events in both this lifetime and others.

Why is your methodology so effective?

The methodology is effective because it centers on a present problem, asks at the proper level of consciousness for insight, relies on spirit-led guidance received by a medium / Akashic Records reader, and clears unwanted energies using energy healing techniques.

What sorts of feedback do you receive from your clients?

Clients comment on the effectiveness of sessions that have relieved maladies after exhausting all possibilities with conventional medicine. Some examples include hearing unwanted voices, smoking cessation, and low self-esteem from trauma in another life. Each of these was attached to sources outside of their conscious awareness. Once they are consciously aware of where the interferences originate from, we can process and release the energy.

Why is this process so effective?

Many things affect us in this lifetime that we are not consciously aware of. Often, the source of anxiety has roots in several levels of consciousness. By starting with what we are consciously aware of, it is possible to investigate contributing factors at other levels of consciousness. My gifts of mediumship, Akashic Records reading, and energy clearing greatly facilitate this process.

Who are your most influential thought mentors?

Lynne McTaggart for the scientific connections to energy healing in The Field, Gregg Braden for his insight on energetic connections in The Divine Matrix, Gabor Mate for his astounding depths of understanding in his psychiatric work, Theodore Roosevelt for his attitude about daring greatly, Michael Newton, PhD for his insight into life between lives in Journey of Souls, Robert Schwartz for his understanding of soul purpose in Your Soul’s Gift, Bob Bens for his mentorship as a medium, and the list continues.

I understand that your first book garnered the International Impact Award 2025. Why do you think it received this award?

Waiting For Elijah: A Walk Through Time takes us on a journey of self-discovery by following the threads of awareness connecting generations of families and principal players from multiple geographic locations. The events and interactions happening on two continents support the same effort at different levels. This book provides a source of fun on vacation for the adventure reader, and for the metaphysical reader, it provides a backdrop for energetic connections. All involved are playing the same melody, each using a different instrument. A culmination of events over three generations comes full circle at the end and shows that we are all energetically connected for a purpose.

What is the best way to contact you for a session?
