Hello, Anna! Could you please introduce yourself?

Hello! I am Anna Mercoiret, a holistic coach and the founder of the Wholistic method.

After more than a decade working in finance in Paris, I decided to move to Bali and completely change my life.

What prompted this significant change in your life?

This change stemmed from numerous health issues and a lack of fulfillment in my daily life. I didn’t quite know what I was missing, but deep down, I felt incomplete.

I believe that life challenges, like health issues, are there to realign us with our Higher Self. These are signs that we need to learn lessons or make changes in our lives.

It’s the concept of Kensho versus Satori. Kensho is evolution through pain and challenges, whereas Satori is evolution through awakening and personal development. When we do not evolve enough or quickly enough through Satori, the universe sends us more Kensho to push us towards rapid changes.

Through these trials, I asked myself what changes needed to be made. The answer was quite simple and obvious: everything!

Easier said than done, of course.

I started step by step, training in a lot of different fields over more than five years. This included natural medicines like Naturopathy and Ayurveda, as well as Energy Work through Yoga, Reiki, Hermetics, Magnetism, Chakra Healing, Ǫi Gong, and Tai Chi. I used all these new tools I was acquiring to heal myself.

By healing my body, I healed my mind: I decided to leave my old life behind, a life I believed brought me security but was only an illusion because what is material security when you don’t have your health?

How long did it take for you to see results?

Six months after implementing all these tools, and before my move to Bali, all my conditions were regulated. I was back in balance, having achieved homeostasis.

In good health, I finally decided to move to Bali.

Believing that to welcome change and opportunities we need space in our lives and in our minds, I sold everything.

I moved to Bali with just a carry-on suitcase and my yoga mat. There, opportunities blossomed.

The encounters, the development of my new health and wellness activity, I manifested so much more than I could ever have imagined!

Today, I am so grateful to be able to say that I am in good health, fulfilled, and proud to have built the life of my dreams.

What motivated you to develop the Wholistic method, and how has your personal journey influenced its creation?

The Wholistic method is a comprehensive approach to well-being and health, leveraging my extensive training in Ayurveda, Naturopathy, Energy Work, and Personal Development.

This method was clearly born from my personal quest.

As I mentioned, I faced many health issues: hormonal imbalance (PCOS), chronic inflammation, insulin resistance, kidney insufficiency (resulting in the removal of a kidney), anxiety, and burnout—conditions that had no treatments. I found myself alone with my problems, as the medical field could do nothing for me.

By all means, I wanted only one thing: to get better. I trained in everything that could help me. I became a Naturopath, an Ayurveda Practitioner, an Energy Coach, a Personal Development Coach, and a Yoga Teacher.

All of this enabled me to regulate my conditions in a record time of just six months! Through my experience, I understood that when you provide what the body and mind need, they quickly regain balance.

Seeing the real effectiveness of my approach, I decided to share my knowledge with others, and gradually, due to the growing interest, I dedicated my life to it.

Now, I support individuals both one-on-one and through an online platform where I publish masterclasses on nutrition, lifestyle habits, routines, yoga classes, energy and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) sessions.

Can you explain how Ayurveda, naturopathy, yoga, and energetics are integrated into your Wholistic approach?

Most of the people I see in consultations who have health problems are only interested in one aspect of the cause of the problem, usually diet and exercise. But being healthy is much more than that.

The who defines health as follows: "Health is a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity."

We already know that the body and mind are intimately linked: emotions can cause diseases that manifest physically, and physical issues, such as digestive problems, also impact our mental health. For example, an intestinal dysbiosis can lead to a loss of motivation and even depression because serotonin, the happiness hormone, is produced in the intestines.

A holistic approach therefore includes naturopathy and Ayurveda, for seeking physical health tailored to each individual; yoga, energy work, and personal development for mental health and a more aligned life.

How do you tailor your programs and consultations to meet the unique needs of each client?

There isn't a single approach to health that guarantees good physical, mental, and emotional well-being. There isn't one diet that is suitable for everyone. There isn't one sport that is better than another. Just as there isn't one ideal way of life.

We see this easily in daily life: some people digest raw vegetables very well, while for others, they can cause bloating. Some find joy and improved health through running, while for others, it can lead to inflammation, hormonal imbalance, pain, and frustration.

How can we know an individual's needs? Simply by listening, paying attention to the signs of imbalance in their body, and also to their desires. This allows for the identification of their Ayurvedic constitution and the causes of their imbalances.

Listening is the key to personalizing my approach, for greater effectiveness and quick results.

What new projects or expansions are you planning for Wholistic by Anna in the near future?

I would like to expand my activity by offering group coaching sessions. I aim to create a real community with regular interactions.

So, if any of your readers are interested in group coaching or even individual support to get started, please don't hesitate to contact me so we can build an offer that suits them together.

Thank you for sharing your inspiring journey, Anna. Your story is a powerful testament to the transformative power of holistic health and wellness.

Thank you! It’s my pleasure to share my story and I hope it inspires others to take control of their health and happiness.
