During February, many people have love on the brain. Those who are single are thinking about finding a partner in time for Valentine’s Day, and those who are in a partnership are thinking about how they can make their relationship even better.

The photo shows a hypnotherapist performing a session, holding a pendulum over a relaxed woman lying down in a serene, sunlit room.

However, have you ever heard someone say that they wished their partner would change?

Well, as many of us are already aware, it’s nearly impossible, if not downright impossible, to change another person. The only thing that we have control over is ourselves and how we respond to various situations.

Our power lies in the fact that we create our own reality by how we view reality.

When I discovered that hypnosis had real power to change our everyday lives and that it isn’t just something used to entertain a bored audience by getting them to laugh at some poor unsuspecting soul, I knew it was something I wanted to do with my life to teach people the power of hypnosis and to help them to manifest the life of their dreams.

Hypnosis works because human beings are extremely suggestible; it’s just that we usually accept the wrong suggestions about what we can't do or suggestions about what is not possible for us.

But, when under hypnosis, we’re more suggestible to the right suggestions.

3 ways that hypnosis can help improve your current relationship

1. Listen better

Hypnosis can help you to listen better. How so, you may ask? The audio recording that I will make in the session with you will remind you to listen to your partner and really listen so that you may hear the subtext. People don’t always say exactly what they mean and feel, so hypnosis can basically train you to listen for the underlying feelings and what is going unsaid with your partner.

2. Better communication

Hypnosis can help you to communicate better because during the first half of your hour-and-a-half to two-hour session, I will ask you what phrases resonate with you, and I will ask you when the most difficult times are for you to communicate with your partner. Then, we will put it in the script for your audio recording (that you will listen to for 21 consecutive days) that you will notice those times. You will verbally express what it is that you think your partner is thinking and feeling so that they can confirm or deny, and then you will express your thoughts and feelings so that better communication is happening with each exchange.

3. Focus on what you love about your partner

Another way that hypnosis can help improve your relationship is by reminding you to always focus on what you love about your partner, not the things that drive you crazy in a bad way. What you focus on expands, and when you focus on the positive aspects of your partner, it helps the relationship to grow and continuously improve because your partner starts to naturally feel more appreciated and loved.

So, these are just three ways that hypnosis can help improve your current relationship: by listening better, communicating better, and focusing on what you really love about your partner.
