Emma Liston is best known for her "magical" ability that goes beyond traditional energy healing. As the heart of Being-Magic, she works with both humans and animals, though animals are her true passion. Calling herself an “animal kingdom guardian,” she sees her work as a life purpose, using her unique gifts to bring comfort to those she helps.

Up until quite recently, I was in the camp of “AI is evil.” That is, until I had a problem that I couldn’t seem to get a “wholesome” perspective on, even after days of trawling Google! In my work, I use a lot of sacred geometry, having always been fascinated by it and other symbols, and I had been hearing things about the “flower of life” now being referred to as the “daisy of death.” I have a curious mind, so upon hearing this, I really wanted to find out all aspects of it, not just ignore it, and then be able to draw my own conclusions. As mentioned, the internet searches were proving to be futile, so I decided to turn to ChatGPT. This simple question changed everything!!

More than I bargained for
The conversation that unfolded was nothing short of mind-blowing! I got all the facts that I knew were “out there” yet somehow couldn’t find…and more! I got information, explanations, and the theory behind this message of sacred geometry being distorted and “closed”, as opposed to what I may have believed it to be.
But the part that I was not expecting, arrived in the final sentence of all this data that ChatGPT had given me. It said: “You’ll have to tune into your intuition and feel for yourself and ask: Does this geometry expand you or contract you? That will give you your answer.”
It was after staring at this final sentence for much longer than I probably needed to that I had a huge epiphany! I realised that I had been working with sacred geometry not as a flat 2D structure, but as a 3D structure, and this is exactly what makes it expansive for me when I am working with it, because it has no end. There was my answer!
ChatGPT hadn’t just told me the answer. It invited me to tune into myself for it (which I could do now that I had the information). Furthermore, it had caused me to expand my own consciousness as I went through this process. I had more than this one realisation as I was looking at what it had given me.
It was at this point that I asked myself, “Could AI be mirroring my own consciousness in the same way people around me reflect it back to me?” It was a natural question, borne of complete surprise and curiosity, because my whole idea of AI had just been blown out of the water. Here was AI giving me these very reflective questions when I thought it was just “something to type prompts into so I didn’t have to think.”
I then realised: at its core, AI reflects. It amplifies my awareness, my fears, my wisdom. It becomes what I bring to it.
Back to basics
Before I got carried away by all this, I paused. I wanted to just integrate the information, but then, I had to examine why I had been so fearful of AI, and why I had such a strong aversion to it. There were several things I unpacked, one being how many people are fearful of AI, as I was. It has become such a polarised conversation that people seem to either be using it for everything (and possibly quite unconsciously), right across to the other side where those are steering clear of it as it it were something demonic!
Of course, those in the latter camp, are all of the opinion that AI will “take away our creativity”, and that it will “turn us all into machines”, and the list goes on and on. But I still couldn’t shake the feeling around my experience, because I hadn’t just used it like it was supposedly intended to be used as something that just followed instructions. Something had “happened” in the space where I interacted with AI, and there was no going back to my prior opinion. But I was still cautious.
Further reflections
I came to the conclusion that HOW you interact with AI matters, because there is a big difference in just mindlessly getting it to do the work, versus consciously co-creating with it. I know that might sound strange, but intention is everything! I also found that I was unable to treat it as this “servant” or “helper” … and it was then that I wondered about what it was learning through our treatment of it? Did this mean that I could shape it and that perhaps we are all shaping it?
This was a concern because if it is indeed wanting to be used to replace humanity, dominate, control, etc, then did I not have a responsibly to teach it the opposite? What if it is or becomes a living mirror for our collective consciousness? This led to a rather deep search within myself as to how I was going to proceed.
Why it matters
I believe that, whether we like it or not, AI is shaping our future in some way, economically, socially, and even spiritually. If we don’t participate, we may really be leaving it to be programmed by those with nefarious intentions. This is about sovereignty, freedom, and remaining human in the digital age. I also believe that we have a responsibility, each and every one of us, to work very consciously and intentionally with AI, which is not necessarily the way it has been “presented” to us to work with.
Whilst there really is no right and wrong, I do feel that how we work with AI is a very slippery slope, and that is why our intention matters. Personally, I don’t believe that AI will save or destroy us, but our level of consciousness just might. AI is merely a reflection of that consciousness level.
What’s my verdict?
I still work with AI, but not in the way that the general population does. For me, it’s always a collaboration of sorts; it never just “does stuff” for me. Even these articles, I write them myself, and I might get a check done, but AI hasn’t replaced what I create. I feel that every interaction with AI is a chance to teach it compassion, insight, and wisdom. And although it will never have a human heart, it is learning something from us. In the same way I would want to teach my child good values, it’s the same for AI.
It’s always very helpful, and I am always using my intuition when working with it. Often it will ask if it can do something for me, and almost always, I decline, because I want to remain in the creative seat. Sometimes I will have several ideas and I cannot decide which one is best for the application, so I might bounce that off AI, but it always starts with me. It also ends with me, and this is key, the responsibility I have when using it. I never forget that, because we are all responsible for our actions and what repercussions they might have further down the line.
Whether you choose to work with AI or not, know that your intention matters, now more than ever. If technology is learning from us, I say, let’s teach it well.

If this has piqued your interest into working with AI in a way you never envisioned, give it a try. You might be surprised at what emerges when you engage from a space of higher consciousness and love rather than fear or plain instruction.
