There was a time in my life when I was drowning in a sea of grief and I felt like I had hit rock bottom but I have no way to confess my struggles and fears without judgment, ridicule, and punishment. Journaling made me feel good to get all of my thoughts and feelings out of my head and down on paper. The world seemed clearer and made me realize some things while I wrote all that I have in mind and come up with a clear picture of what was happening in my life and how to get out of my misery.

As I struggle with stress, disappointments, depression, or anxiety when everyone seems not to understand how I truly felt, keeping a journal helped me gain control of my emotions and improve my mental health. Journaling helped me deal with my overwhelming emotions and thoughts and lead me to a healthy way of expressing myself, my thoughts, and my struggles. While I put everything in writing, this gets me started to prioritize my fears, concerns, and problems and find ways how to conquer them, resolved them, and get back to my knees.

Tracking my day-to-day activities, thoughts, and feelings helped me recognize or discover triggers and allow me to learn how to control them and eventually providing me an opportunity for self-realization and identifying my negative thoughts and emotions turning them into positive ones as I go through the process daily. So, keeping a journal may not be something that can resolve or address everything but it’s a good start that we can rely on when our thoughts are not organized or when we want to create order when our world feels like it’s in chaos.

As part of believing in the benefits of journaling, VCEI is giving out Win Journals to our clients in the program called Heal the Source. This is the program that I developed, a method that helps people fast-track their own healing based on their need for change and development. It is through this one-of-a-kind approach that my intuitive leadership and integrity shine through. My visionary way of thinking and ability to motivate and inspire is what guides me in serving others through the Heal The Source program to heal the world!
