"What people see on race day is only a small part of the story," he says. "The real work happens long before anyone reaches the starting line."
That perspective also carries into his role as a board member of Club Deportivo Olimpia, one of Honduras' most recognised football clubs.
Whether working in motorsport or football, Pastor believes high-performing organisations share common characteristics.
"Strong teams are built on trust, preparation, and people understanding their role," he says. "Those lessons apply just as much in business as they do in sport."
