Three years ago, Dr Finn Majlergaard decided he wanted to make a difference by creating a safer way of networking and dating, so that people could meet other people of a similar mindset, whether it would be for friendship, work networking, finding a travel buddy, dating or looking for long term partner. So he made a website called The Educated Singles Club.

This particular site is for people with a master's degree or above. Dr Majlergaard agreed that if this website is a success then there could be potential for more websites for people to meet of a similar mindset. Now, we all know how monotonous it can be when going on our average dating site, we make a profile, pay a fee, we're never really sure if people are who they say they are, so we. swipe left or right and are very much encouraged to make a decision on people looks, which to be fair, might be fun for a while, but do we feel safe?

How is this safer?

As we all know, when we often sign up to join a website for many reasons one of the biggest problems that we face is that the people we sign up to then go and sell our information to other parties. With The Eucated Singles Club this is not the case. There is a privacy promise as oppose to a privacy policy.

You must also have identification and proof of qualification to have a profile at The Educated Singles Club. There is no app, it has been maintained as a website, as that way it can keep track of any mishaps should they occur.

Members are encouraged to come and chat in the discussion areas. This makes chatting easier and safer The staff all have profiles so that members of The Educated Singles Club can reach out easily if they have a problem.

The Educated Singles Club arranges events for it’s members making that first all important meet safer and more relaxed. It was something that was held back due to COVID but is now being arranged again.
