Polarity is the organizing principle of life, from planetary magnetism to human relationships. This full moon, with Ketu in Leo opposing a stacked Aquarius lineup, amplifies that law: forces pull, oppose, and demand balance. Read on for a clear breakdown of what’s in motion, who’s most affected, and how to move through this moment with strategic presence rather than reaction.

Polarity

We live inside polarity. Earth itself behaves like a giant magnet with an energetic toroidal field, and our bodies mirror that same flow. Wherever opposing forces meet, tension and the potential for harmony are born. When tension is balanced, systems hum. When it’s unbalanced, systems strain, whether that system is a body, a relationship, or an entire nation.

Planetary influences

In Jyotisha (Vedic astrology), we track planets through Saturn because those are the energetic tethers that shape long-form patterns inside us. As planets move at varied speeds, they form shifting geometric alignments. Each full moon is a monthly high point, a crescendo in which those planetary “ingredients” mix and create energetic alchemy. Some mixes ease into harmony, others force hard, costly adjustments.

Eclipses

Eclipses act as portals within this matrix. Their nodes, Rahu (north) and Ketu (south), carry long arcs of influence. Right now, Rahu sits in Aquarius, and Ketu in Leo, a transit that will persist through November 2026. If your Sun, Moon, or rising sign aligns with these degrees, this 18-month cycle will play out through personal and collective events. Remember, with this accurate system, you may or may not be an Aquarian.

Full moon in Leo

The full moon on March 3, 2026, falls with Ketu in Leo opposite Aquarius influences. Leo archetypically carries rulership, status, and the “CEO” energy, and Ketu symbolizes release, dissolution, and loss. This configuration favors the endings of power structures, leaders, public figures, or institutions may unexpectedly lose authority. On an individual level, the Leo house in your chart highlights the arena of life where release or detachment is required.

Aquarius is the polarity

Aquarius is the polarity here, and this full moon’s opposing planets are concentrated in Aquarius, Mars (6°28’), Rahu (14°45’), the Sun (18°40’), and Mercury retrograde (26°15’). These bodies sit in fixed signs, which resist change. Fixed energy tolerates pressure until a breaking point, when change comes, it can feel abrupt or explosive. Planets conjoined with Rahu are often amplified, so the results can be surprisingly intense. Mercury retrograde layered into this pattern heightens miscommunication, errors, and delays. Expect friction in agreements and travel, technical and transport mishaps are more likely. On a geophysical level, heightened planetary tension can also correlate with increased seismic or volcanic activity.

Practical application

Practically, this full moon invites two clear strategies:

• Practice proactive release. Identify Leo-ruled areas in your chart (or the life domains tied to status, public identity, or creative expression) and let go of worn attachments before a rupture forces it.

• Build resilient communication and contingency plans. With Mercury retrograde and fixed Aquarius pressure, don’t rely on things “working out” without redundancy and clear intentions.

If you resist letting go, circumstances will often conspire to make it happen for you. Better to lead the process, set intentions, disengage from unhealthy power dynamics, and conserve energy for the next phase. Take stock now: which roles, ties, or stories about your power need to be released? Choose one small, concrete step to reclaim balance this week (e.g., a clear conversation, an administrative cleanup, or a creative pause).

Love only

P.S. I encourage all of you to get to know your own Jyotisha birth chart, and not by A.I. It is a process that takes some time and investment, but augments your life like nothing else! It will help you identify your authentic energetic place in this universe. Consider it a map. If a boat or a plane wants to reach a specific destination, a map is required! The more you understand, the more awe-inspiring it becomes!
