Omnia Vincit Amor – The Power of Love

Inspired by current key global challenges, I found myself contemplating on how can oneself lead and contribute to meaningful change and transformation. Inevitably I thought about Love, if Love conquers all, why are we so reluctant in surrendering to its power?
What is love?
How do we know we have love? How do we know we give love?
How comfortable are we with expressing our love?
How can we love more?
How do we love ourselves? Can we find love?
How does the word Love sound to each person?
Does the context or situation change the perception we have on the meaning of love?
If love conquers all, why are we so reluctant in surrendering to its power?
If love can endure hardships, heal and bring people together, why do we keep choosing separation from love?
We don’t know how to love another or the World until we love ourselves.
We don’t know how to give love until we care enough to ask how the other recognizes it.
We don’t know the outcome of our love until we have given it to something or someone.
We cannot know the power of Love until we dare to experience it in every little aspect of Life.
So, love is in fact an expression of courage and trust, in ourselves and in the Universe that surrounds us.
It is both the knowing and the not knowing, it is light and dark, it is our deepest wants and our deepest fears. It’s inspiration, it’s creativity in motion, it’s dreams, visions and possibilities, it’s adventure and invincibility. A power like this is a force to be reckoned with, it’s a true biological weapon, for good, for expansion, for evolution.
So why are we not using it in every shape and form?
Why are we choosing to surrender our natural and innate power of Love to deception,
artifices and substitutes?
Are we all afraid of the not knowing? Are we all so lazy and formatted to instant gratification and control that we forgot how to love?
Are we all blind, oblivious, or so intoxicated that we can’t face our own reflexion?
How long will it take us, Humanity, to let courage and integrity put Love front and centre?
How would our life here on Earth look like if all of us human beings would label Love as unnegotiable?
Can we imagine how our life would be like if we all, individually, chose Love instead?
Love for ourselves, love for each other despite the differences, love for our livelihood, love for our neighbourhood, our Country, our Planet, Nature and all its resources.
How simple is that? Can you imagine? Just being? Having Love as the new World order?
Love begets Love, which begets Trust, which begets Freedom, freedom to choose, to create anew, without fear.
