We’re living through a time when we are being made to feel crazy, in what some people are calling menticide, or genocide of the mind. One of these crazy making practices is called gaslighting, which is happening individually, and collectively. This not only affects us, but our environment also. Let’s look into the world of confusion and doubt, and see how much of this is propaganda for control purposes.

Mental illness is on the rise. Protecting your mental capabilities is such an important subject in today’s world for your health and well being. I thought I better share my experience of this. Cognitive dissonance is a real issue causing real problems because people are becoming confused to what is true and what is false. Is this causing people’s minds to be broken?

What exactly is menticide?

Menticide was first coined by a Dutch Psychiatrist called Jooste Meerloo and means the destruction or undermining of a person's mental independence in order to alter his or her beliefs. He was studying brainwashing. This was the time when TV was first introduced into human society. He saw how the technology could be used against us in the future. If he could see today’s world, he would witness first hand he was on the right track, with the collection of personal data on the internet now. This is also a way of a person getting control of another person.

Trying to gain control of another person happens regularly in the form of gas lighting. That is someone who is telling you your inner sense of something is wrong, when it simply isn’t the case. This has been used by governments and large corporations for many years now and is causing mass confusion in our society today. For some people, they are becoming angry and intellectually insulted by this, while others just roll along with this situation.

Carl Jung said ‘Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your lives and you will call it fate.’ Tiffany Barsotti said in an interview with Regina Meredith about fate and destiny which helps to clarify this. Fate is the family you are born into. She says fate is the people we end up traversing our lives with. Destiny is how we choose to move our lives in a certain direction by the choices that we make. We can discern whether or not we are engaged in a healthy way, with the relationships that we have. This creates our destiny.

How important is freedom of choice to you?

All over the world right now, we are being challenged with our right to say yes or no. This is coming to a crescendo, with demonstrations across many nations around the world.

Draconian practices are being introduced, and some people are reacting badly to this, while many are just accepting this. This is causing an enormous divide in society, when it should not really be there. Thomas Jefferson said a difference of opinion is so important because it is the middle ground where all the magic lies.

This divide is the menticide influence on our world today. We are being convinced that we are going to lose whatever we think that makes us comfortable in the world unless we take these measures we are being told to take. Some of us are likely to become more uncomfortable with these choices that will be forced upon us. After lockdown, people are leaving their jobs and wanting something more from life. People are unplugging from the mainframe and wanting to pursue a life that is more true to themselves. Some of the people I speak to are not sure what that profound purpose is yet, but they are starting to think about it. That in itself, is amazing.

We are being presented with a choice here. One way is to choose what you want to do with your life, and where you want to take it. The other is into the world of indoctrination. This is not usually of your making. So, it is a choice of two opposites. When you choose what you want to do in your life, this opens up the door to your own creativity and makes you focus on how you are going to achieve that. Even though everything can look really bleak, there has never been a more perfect time to be yourself and follow your passion.

What is the antidote?

The antidote to menticide is believing in yourself. When there is all this confusion about what is true and what is not true, one scientific paper says this, and another says that, these are all here for you to start questioning. Our ability to question has been stripped away from us, through fear and manipulation. I was raised as a catholic, and the worst thing I felt that could happen to me was being called a heretic. And heretic simply means someone who questionings the nature of a belief system. But the fear was deep inside me. It took a while for me to get over that.

We are going the same way with our political systems now. We are not allowed to question or show any dissent. This is causing mass confusion, because in the west, we are supposed to live in free countries, with freedom of speech. And when you find the courage to speak up, you are condemned from all sides, even when you know that you are right. I have been in this place on many occasions, and now have no bad feeling about it at all. I can see clearly why this is happening.

Confusion is everywhere

Many people have become so confused with this world; they have lost their bearings. They just do not know what to believe anymore. Confusion is at best uncertainty, but is much like a state of shock. Highly sensitive people will recognise this state of shock as a small explosion in their nervous system where they can’t react or respond. This is rather much like experiencing an accident. You have lost your own inner connection, and are taken over by outside circumstances and influences.

This usually leads to people not being able to express themselves and will say they do not know a lot about a certain situation or subject. Just saying you don’t know can be seen as a sign of deep inner confusion. Confusion always comes from outside of ourselves. And the most amazing thing about human beings, is that internally we are never confused. We always have a sense of clarity. We have to get back to that inner knowing to help us get through the confusion.

Journey inwards and succeed outwards

When you choose to take the journey to connect more deeply with yourself, you start to answer the questions of who am I? Why am I here? What am I here to do? It is simply finding your profound purpose. When you answer these questions and find your purpose, life looks so much different, and you do not want to have any interference for you achieving the goals you have set inside of you. You become sovereign and independent. You become strong and focused. You ignore the chatter inside and outside of your head.

Why are people still falling for the menticide? Here is one reason. In NLP there is a term called ‘Open Loops’. This is when you don’t finish a point, or a thought process and the answer is left open. This leaves an opportunity for someone else’s idea to come in and fill the gap. This is because the brain has registered the point, but not fulfilled the knowledge inside of you. NLP is an amazing tool for healing, but can be part of the playbook for menticide. This is how non-truths become truths in our world today. This is why many people are breaking away from main stream media and finding information for themselves that they trust.

Personal discernment is so important today

Discernment is the answer here. You have to make a choice. Are you going to choose yourself, or the indoctrination, and somebody else’s beliefs? This is the test many of us are going through right now who are awake to this. This can put you at odds with your outside world. Your family and friends will start to question your actions. Even your work colleagues and acquaintances. And you also have a choice to share or to keep quiet about your inner thoughts and feelings. I went through all of this when I decided to become a professional musician. I went through this struggle.

We all need to keep our grace in these situations, and keep love and kindness in the forefront of our minds. With these divisive awakenings happening in our world today, conversation and an open mind are what is needed, not arguments and dogmatic belief systems. We should be able to share how we feel deep down inside, and this will help us see how much self-work and self-healing we need. It is nothing to be ashamed of.

Getting through this article to this point, I am sure you are one of the ones who can look at this world and see that it does not make sense at the moment. This is a good thing as you are waking up to our reality. For the people around you who are not in the same position, we all need to be discerning and help them through what could be a traumatic time for them.

Freedom can be a hard choice, but is inside all of us

Breaking down old preconceptions, belief systems and dogmatic outlooks can be really hard. When I was going through parts of my transformation, I did literally feel like I was losing my mind. And I was. But I was replacing it with my inner truth and wisdom.

It's crunch time and we have a choice. And the choice is such an important one. We can choose our own path or we can go down the path of someone else. Becoming an entrepreneur would mean choosing your own path. This is not an easy choice, but one that will make you choose your own sovereignty. You will become responsible for your successes and failures. You will become responsible for your actions of yourself and how you are perceived as a company. You will be responsible for every aspect of your life. To many people, that would probably sound like too much effort and work. But it is the most liberating and biggest act of self-love you can give to yourself.

It was Carl Jung who said we need individuating before we can become part of collective consciousness. This is so important. This also brings into perspective what you are doing now, and more importantly where you are going. You have direction and purpose when you take this on board. And from meeting all the wonderful people I have on podcasts and the people who are setting up their own business, this process makes life exciting and worth living again.

New parallel structures forming, as they always do in times like these

With these podcasts I have been on, I am beginning to see that parallel structures are already being set up for people to be together and mix with like-minded people. It is a refreshing change from the politically charged meetings I have been to. And the conspiracy charged rallies I have been to also. There is a glimmer of hope that is turning into a flame, and we all need to start fanning that flame to allow it to grow into a beautiful light. There is a great video by After Skool on menticide, where this subject is broken down even further than I have in this article.

The world is changing rapidly and we can change with it. It does not have to be so difficult or challenging that it causes us harm. But we have a choice here, and I choose me. I want you to choose you. And then we can meet in the middle and choose us. I rarely meet human beings who want the worst outcome for humanity, so many of us are coming from the same place. This fills me with love, respect and great hope because we are slowly moving to a proper place. That place is a collective group of sovereign beings wanting the best for all of us and our planet as well. Now that is a world I want to be part of.
