I see our world to be greatly divided. Our values have shifted from valuing others to devaluing others. I challenge every person to revisit and reevaluate our values. I ask that you take the time to reflect and meditate on your top three values. Do your top three values support any of these – valuing others, making a difference, building communities, and fostering change? If not, they should because our world needs change and transformation.

My top three values are integrity, hope, listening.

In regards to integrity, I stand by my word. If I cannot stand by my word, then I will not create or build trust.

In regards to hope, I have hope because I believe in the greatness within every person and that this world can become better. Every person can achieve their best, aspiring for greatness and realizing their dreams. One must believe and have faith.

“The potential for greatness lives within each of us.” – Wilma Rudolph

Lastly, the values of listening. I must be committed to listening to what is in the heart of others. Ask how I can help? Be of assistance and support? It is not about me but us.

Since February 2021, I have been hosting Transformation Tables to help others change themselves, their world and impact those around them. The purpose of the transformation tables is to help build awareness of values and align our actions with our values. We focus on six values – hope, listening, valuing every person, multiplication, integrity, and forgiveness. Our values impact our actions, attitude, and beliefs. We must be conscientious of our values and purposeful in our actions. My tables are part of the Change Your World movement launched by John C. Maxwell. Every person can be a difference and make a difference. You must look within yourself, identify your purpose and cause, and take action to be impactful and significant.

I am a member of the John Maxwell Team (JMT). A team that values every person believing that every person can make a difference and be a difference. To make a difference, mankind must unite and build communities—unifications results in fostering change and transformation. John F. Kennedy stated that everyone has a change the world speech within them. As such, each of us can change our world, helping to make our world better and greater. Martin Luther King, Jr stated I have a dream. As with Martin Luther King, Jr., I dream that mankind can become unified, resulting in creating and building communities, making our world better, and valuing every person. Every person is the value. John Maxwell states he sees everyone as a 10. As such, every person should be treated as a 10.

My mission is to partner with people who seek to make a difference and be a difference. Changing our world and the world around us. Let us unite, embracing our differences but focusing on our similarities. As we focus on our similarities, we will build communities, resulting in transformation and changing our world. Together we can and will change this world, making it better and stronger.
