A quick ARC™ exercise for leaders
Take ten minutes this week to walk through your own Leadership ARC™:
1. Awareness
Write down the three patterns you fall into under stress.
Circle the one your team already sees but you rarely admit.
2. Regulation
Before your next big meeting, pause for 90 seconds.
Take slow, deliberate breaths and ask: Am I walking in with clarity or chaos?
3. Connection
Ask one trusted colleague or team member: “What do you see me doing consistently that builds trust, and what do you see that erodes it?”
Do not defend. Just listen.
Keep your notes. This simple check-in is the beginning of designing your ARC™.
