Justin Brewer – Turning Discipline into Innovation

Growing up in Somers, Connecticut, Justin Brewer never imagined his passion for soccer would later shape his approach to business. Yet, looking back, he sees a clear connection. “Sport teaches you to keep moving forward, even when it’s hard,” he says. “That same mindset is what helps you build something lasting.”

Man in green jacket smiles while sitting on a wooden stool against a plain white background, exuding a relaxed and cheerful mood.

Today, Brewer is the Founder and CEO of Greenhub, a company based in Las Vegas that helps businesses streamline payment processing and eliminate hidden costs. His path from small-town athlete to recognised entrepreneur wasn’t fast or easy—but it was deliberate, consistent, and grounded in purpose.

Building from the ground up

After earning his degree in Communications Technology from Sacred Heart University in 2013, where he was a four-year starter on the NCAA Division I men’s soccer team, Brewer entered the professional world through sales and marketing. His early career included roles at YP.com and Thomson Reuters FindLaw in Boston, where he worked closely with small businesses and law firms.

“Those jobs were like business boot camp,” he recalls. “I learned how companies think, where they struggle, and what they need to grow.”

Brewer discovered a recurring issue—many businesses were losing money to hidden fees and inefficient systems. “I saw how easily business owners could be taken advantage of, and that didn’t sit right with me,” he explains. That observation sparked an idea that would later become Greenhub.

Founding Greenhub: An idea with purpose

In 2019, Brewer moved to Las Vegas to launch Greenhub, a merchant services company built around transparency and trust. Starting a new venture in a competitive industry required resilience. “It was just me in the beginning,” he says. “No investors, no shortcuts. I built it client by client.”

He approached the challenge with the same determination he brought to the soccer field—discipline, teamwork, and a focus on fundamentals. “In sport, you win by staying consistent. Business isn’t that different,” he says.

Under his leadership, Greenhub has grown steadily, earning recognition for its commitment to simplifying complex payment systems. In 2025, Brewer was named a Vegas Inc 40 Under 40 honouree for leadership and innovation.

Lessons from the field to the office

Brewer often draws parallels between sport and entrepreneurship. “When you play at a competitive level, you learn to handle pressure,” he says. “You don’t always win, but you learn how to recover quickly and keep your head clear. That’s essential in business.”

He credits his time at Sacred Heart University not only for developing his athletic skills but also for teaching him accountability. “If you don’t show up, your team suffers,” he notes. “That lesson applies to leadership too. People rely on you, and that responsibility drives you to be better.”

Leadership through routine and balance

Brewer’s approach to leadership is deeply rooted in personal discipline. His days start early with fitness—lifting weights or running before the workday begins. “I train five days a week,” he says. “It’s not about vanity; it’s about focus. Physical discipline keeps my mind sharp.”

Outside of work, he’s an avid snowboarder, mountain biker, and traveller. He often takes off in his truck camper to chase snowstorms and clear his head. “Being outdoors reminds me why I work so hard,” he says. “It gives me perspective and space to think.”

Teaching others to build freedom

Beyond growing Greenhub, Brewer is developing a merchant services course to help aspiring entrepreneurs understand how to create sustainable income streams and escape traditional career limits. “People want more freedom, but they don’t always know where to start,” he explains. “My goal is to share what I’ve learned—the systems, the mistakes, and the mindset.”

For him, success isn’t about glamour or speed. It’s about consistency and courage. “Big ideas are great,” he says, “but what really matters is the willingness to do the small things every single day.”

A philosophy of persistence

Brewer’s story isn’t one of overnight success—it’s one of persistence and self-belief. From Connecticut’s soccer fields to leading an independent company in Las Vegas, he’s built a career around integrity and action. “If you wait until you’re ready, you’ll never start,” he says. “Just begin, stay consistent, and keep learning.”

As for what’s next, he plans to continue expanding Greenhub while mentoring others who want to build a business on their own terms. “Helping people find clarity and confidence—that’s what drives me now,” he says.

Brewer’s journey proves that discipline, not luck, is the real foundation of success. It’s a story about how steady effort and simple routines can turn ambition into something that truly lasts.
