Introduce yourself! Please tell us about you and your life, so we can get to know you better.

Aloha, my name is Caroline. I live on Lāna’i, a small Hawaiian Island located west of Maui with a population of around 3000. I am a mother of three children: Giuseppe, Lucie, and Graziella. We also have our lovable doodle, Orion, and Romeo, our cat, whom we adopted at the Lana’i Cat Sanctuary. In 2019, we decided to make Lana’i our permanent home.

Currently, I work as a resident wellness practitioner at the Four Seasons Lanai Beach Resort. I have the opportunity to work with people from all over the globe, and I enjoy sharing wellness tools and modalities with them. Additionally, I host a complimentary Sunday Community Yoga class in Dole Park here on Lana’i.

Originally, I am from Brooklyn New York the daughter of Italian immigrants. My life’s journey has taken me in so many different directions always searching for meaning of life and trying to discover what am I supposed to do to contribute to this life.

Tell us about a pivotal moment in your life that brought you to where you are today.

In 2010, my sister and best friend Anna was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, marking a significant turning point in my life. I embarked on a journey to understand how energy influences our well-being, how trauma can impact our health, and how to guide individuals in coping and releasing emotional burdens.

Following my sister's passing in 2014, I chose to embrace surrendering, approaching life with a loving openness to accept the unknown. Immersing myself in various modalities, I delved into studying Shamanic healing, sound meditation, and movement practices. My dedication led me to focus my master’s thesis on Reiki, exploring Sensemaking and Identity in Complementary Alternative Medicine through a Communication Study on Reiki. Continuously acquiring new tools for self-improvement and aiding others became my mission.

Deep in my heart, I understood that the transformations I underwent were not solely to support others but also to help me embrace self-love and honor my personal journey. Gradually, I opened in numerous dimensions by seeking guidance from my higher power and offering daily prayers to Anna for her wisdom. Anna serves as my guiding light, teaching me how to empower myself so that I may assist others in empowering themselves. Trust and letting go are essential components of this transformative process.

What inspired you to create Satori324 LLC, and what is the main focus or purpose of your website and business?

Before moving to Lanai, I founded Satori324 Wellness Studio in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin. The mission of Satori324 Studio is to provide a collaborative space for practitioners to share their modalities with others and empower both themselves and their clients. "Satori" represents a sudden spiritual enlightenment resulting in understanding and the dissemination of knowledge, while "324" is a personal tribute to my sister's birthday. During my time at the studio, I created and hosted Discover Self Workshops. These workshops offer tools to help individuals shift their lives, encouraging active participation in redesigning their life with intention and personal responsibility. By introducing new patterns of thought and feelings, participants can transform how they think, act, and feel, breaking down cultural and societal barriers to gain a fresh perspective on themselves and life. Essentially, it's about redesigning one's life.

After relocating to Lāna’i, the studio remained operational with two other practitioners until the second year of the pandemic, at which point I chose not to renew the lease.

On my website, clients can book virtual sessions to explore various modalities with me and to find out any upcoming workshops or retreats.

Can you share any success stories or customer testimonials that highlight the impact of your services?

I have a testimonial section on my website that people can read and get a better understanding of what I do.

Looking ahead, what are your plans for the future growth and development of Satori324 LLC, and are there any upcoming projects or initiatives that you're particularly excited about?

My plans for the future growth and development of Satori324 include launching Discover Self workshops and Discover Self Retreats at the Four Seasons on Lanai and in Southern Italy. The retreat in Italy is scheduled for July 2025. More information about this will be shared on my website later this summer."
