New year, new you! Make this year the best ever and show yourself love by treating yourself with good food. Yes, FOOD!

In a time when people are following different fad diets and struggling to stick to their resolutions, take that leap towards a healthier and happier you by choosing to eat well. Choose a holistic way for you to not only reach your fitness goals but also live life with zest and passion.

Most people fail at dieting and getting fit because they do not have the right mindset and knowledge. Instead of being your own worst body-shamer, start loving yourself more. You will not get the outcome you want by starving yourself, going on crash diets, and taking weight loss medicine.

Directing your focus toward wellness instead of on dropping more than a couple of sizes lower can actually give you better, longer-term results. As you begin feeling good inside because of proper nourishment, you would also start looking good on the outside.

Self-Love With SAFE Food

When you get the right fuel for your body, you can function optimally. Reaching your goals and achieving your vision for yourself would just be a matter of time. Your diet should consist of food choices that give you energy, nourish your skin, repair damaged cells, and fire up your brain. Pump up your body with these SAFE tips:

S – Add food with SUPPORTIVE HEALTHY FATS to your diet. Have olives and avocados. Snack on nuts or sprinkle some seeds on your salads.

A – Load up on ANTIOXIDANTS. Berries are some of the best sources of antioxidants, as are some teas, wines, herbs, and spices.

F – Feed on FUNDAMENTAL FOODS. Go back to the basics. Greens, fruits, and whole grains are all you really need to feel full and get the nutrients that you need.

E – Boost your immune system with ESSENTIAL VITAMINS AND MINERALS. Aside from Vitamins A, C, and E, get your recommended daily intake of Vitamin D and B-12 as well.

No Holding Back

It’s time to stop holding yourself back and to take control of your body and life. Be more intentional and involved in the way you feed your body—and your soul too, for that matter. Remember that you are not alone in your journey as you move towards making healthy eating a part of your lifestyle. Start living with freedom, confidence, energy, and grace by choosing to EAT RIGHT now.
