On his social media, Per demonstrates that it's possible to stay in shape and be healthy even if you're over forty, have young children, and indulge in some treats. With a keen interest in fitness and nutrition Per is passionate about helping people to improve health by explaining how the choices we make impact our bodies. Life balance is a key concern for Per, emphasizing that excessive exercise or strict dietary restrictions are not the best for the body.

Introduce yourself! Please tell us about you and your life.

My name is Per Ekbjörn and I am 41 years old and live with my partner and two children. My daughter is 6 years old, and my son will turn 9 this year. I enjoy exercising and spending time with my children, making activities with them especially enjoyable. I also like traveling and meeting friends. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with people in various settings, from elderly care to schools, treatment homes, and running my own business.

Being unique is essential in my life, reflected in my unconventional approach to my job situation. I own a business and work as a substitute at a support residence, also serving as a contact person for a dozen young men.

Can you provide a brief overview of your business, its mission, and the products or services you offer through the website?

In my business, my primary goal is to teach people to live healthily without adopting an all-or-nothing mentality. Achieving a balanced lifestyle, considering the bigger picture, and making gradual changes over time are key.

How do you engage with your audience and build a sense of community around your brand?

On my Instagram, I engage followers by sharing aspects of my daily life, including exercise, healthy food, family activities, and occasional treats. I aim to show that indulging in treats is not harmful as long as one maintains a healthy overall diet. I also have a Facebook page where I´m active with posts, trying to engage people.

If you could change one thing about your industry, what would it be and why?

I’d like to change the fitness world by addressing the stress and the black-and-white mindset prevalent in the industry. Social media overload causes unnecessary pressure, making people believe they must conform to specific diets and exercise routines. I believe simplicity is crucial – eating a bit better, moving a bit more, laughing, and getting better sleep can go a long way. Common sense should prevail, but the industry tends to complicate things due to the desire to stand out and make money.
