To consciously create the life you desire, it helps to understand the spiritual principles at play. These are not rigid rules but energetic currents you can learn to work with. Your thoughts, feelings, and dreams are pure energy vibrating at a specific frequency. To manifest your desires, you must align your personal vibration with the vibration of what you wish to attract. My story is a guide to how you can consciously work with these same universal laws in your own life.
1. Your connection with Spirit: Trust your inner guidance
From my earliest memories, I felt a connection with Spirit. While playing alone, I would see shimmering orbs of light dancing around me, and I would giggle, feeling their loving energy. Although I was told that logic and intellect were the only things of value, this inner world felt more real than anything else. This disconnect made me crave solitude where I could be with my imagination.
This connection is available to you too. It is your intuition, your inner knowing, and the quiet voice that guides you toward your highest path. Trusting this connection is the first step in creating a life you truly desire. It is the foundation upon which all other manifestation principles are built.
2. The Law of Attraction: Use your imagination as a creative studio
When I was eleven, I discovered a biography of Walt Disney. His wondrous imagination was a mirror to my soul, and a seed of knowing was planted in my heart. I would one day work for Walt Disney World. In my bedroom, I created my own little stage, pretending I was walking down Main Street toward Cinderella Castle. I let my imagination run wild, truly feeling the joy and excitement. I envisioned fireworks lighting up the sky, the Electrical Parade sparkling around me, and me, hand in hand with Mickey Mouse, in a park that was all my own.
This was the purest form of the Universal Law of Attraction at work. Your imagination is not a frivolous escape. It is a powerful creative studio where you build the blueprint for your life. By repeatedly infusing your vision with powerful emotions like joy and excitement, you align your personal energy with the energy of your desire. You become a magnet for it.

3. The Law of Possibility: Transcend limiting beliefs
This inner reality was so solid that when my junior high teacher asked what we planned to do after high school, I proclaimed, “I am going to work for Walt Disney World!” A boy in front of me turned and scoffed, “What makes you think you will be able to do that?”
He was simply operating from his own limited 3D paradigm, the world of logic and doubt. This is a crucial lesson. Never let someone else’s inability to see your vision dim your own light. Your dreams are yours alone and do not require anyone else's approval. By holding steadfast to my vision, I chose to operate from a higher paradigm where anything is possible. This is the Universal Law of Possibility.

4. The Law of Faith: Trust the unseen path
I never worried about the “how.” I simply trusted. Then, in my final year of high school, my teacher announced that representatives from Walt Disney World were coming to our town. I knew this was my opportunity.
This is the Universal Law of Faith. I did not know Disney would send recruiters to my town in Norway. I did not know a fellowship program would be offered to me. I held the vision, and the universe orchestrated the synchronicities to make it happen. Before my interview with over a hundred other hopefuls, I closed my eyes and asked my spiritual guides for support. My genuine enthusiasm shone through, and not only did the interview go well, but the representative offered me a spot in the prestigious Walt Disney World Fellowship Program, an honor reserved for only six people from each country.
5. The Law of Inspired Action: Show the universe you are ready
While working at Epcot, a mentorship position opened up in the Magic Kingdom. It resonated deeply with me, but it was explicitly for Americans. My parents taught me that where there is a will, there is a way, so I decided to apply anyway. While waiting for my interview, I started chatting with a man in the hallway. I openly poured out my passion, my childhood dream, and my love for Walt Disney’s vision, even admitting I was applying despite the stated limitations. When it was my turn, I walked into the room and locked eyes with that very same man. He was the recruiter. Against more than a hundred other applicants, I was offered the spot.
This was an inspired action. I showed the universe I was serious by following that inner pull. When you feel a deep knowing to take a step, even if it seems illogical, that is your soul guiding you. Each courageous step is a message to the universe. “I am ready.”

6. The Law of Correspondence: As within, so without
One evening, I was assigned to assist with a special event. At the end of the night, I was sent to get balloons. As I walked down the middle of an empty Main Street, fireworks began to burst overhead and the music of the Electrical Parade filled the air. Suddenly, Pluto was by my side. He took my hand, and we started dancing down the street together.
Then it hit me. Flashes of me in my childhood bedroom, envisioning this exact scene, flooded my mind. The vision was now my reality. This was the universe mirroring back to me exactly what I had created within. This is the Universal Law of Correspondence. As within, so without.
7. The Law of Vibration: Honor your energetic signature
Everything in the universe starts with the foundational principle that governs it all, the Universal Law of Vibration. When children are encouraged to create without judgment, they grow up trusting their innate abilities, and their soul's energy vibrates at a frequency of confidence and joy. Conversely, when a child's dreams are suppressed, they learn to doubt their power.
Your inner world operates the same way. When you honor your dreams and feel the joy of their potential, you raise your vibration. Honoring your vision is an act of self-love that tunes your energy to the frequency of creation. I lived in the high vibration of my dream, and the universe responded in kind.

Live “As If”: Each day, embody the person you are becoming. If your soul longs to express itself through dance, move your body with abandon. If adventure calls, say yes to new experiences. Every courageous step you take is a message to the universe that you are ready.
