Tia Ress, Professional Psychic and Life Coach

Who is Tia Ress? Introduce yourself, your favorites, your hobbies, at home, and some interesting things about yourself.

I’m a professional psychic who has helped hundreds of people remember who they are, trust their “spidey” senses, and make bold decisions in love and life. My favorite thing to do is try new restaurants and cafes. I love a good meal and good company. I grew up as a Greek-American in Chicago, and my mom found out she was pregnant with me through a tarot card reader who would eventually become my godmother. My boyfriend is an empirical atheist who loves and supports me and my work because he sees the transformation in others regularly. I live between Wisconsin and Chicago.

What led you to specialize in helping professionals connect with their intuition and purpose?

I was always an empathetic child, and people would often come to me for advice and support. My friends started sharing my gifts with strangers, and my business expanded internationally within a year.

What makes your 12-week program different from traditional life coaching or therapy?

My 12-week program differs from traditional life coaching or therapy because it considers the person's innate nature and what’s holding them back from achieving their full potential from both spiritual and psychological perspectives. My program gets down to the truth and helps people lead lives from an authentic place instead of what they think they should be doing or even who they think they are.

Can you share a common challenge your clients face – and how you help them overcome it?

My clients fear that they will stay stuck or make the wrong decision. I help them learn to trust themselves and the Universe, and in turn, how to stay empowered during transitional times like a breakup, divorce, job loss, or any impactful change.

What does it mean to "protect your energy" in a high-performing professional world?

Protecting your energy means knowing what you will or won’t allow because it will energetically drain or diminish you. As a professional, being of service and around people may be a common part of the role. I help people harness their true, authentic power and connection to themselves, so they aren’t spreading themselves thin, being overly available, or feeling obligated to others out of kindness and empathy.

Why is inner child work and past-life healing part of your process?

Inner child work and past life healing are the two most common emotional setbacks in life. They are what run our subconscious and unconscious programming. We may not fulfill ourselves because our inner child could be critical, yet we may mistake that voice for truth. We may decide to stay in a relationship because we have a deep-seated fear of loss that stems from a past life, when in reality, we know we are no longer experiencing growth, joy, or love in the relationship. If we don’t understand our inner child or past lives, they end up being our decision-makers.

What results have your clients experienced after working with you?

After working with me, my clients have left unhealthy relationships and marriages, they have accepted their innate talents and gifts and started their own businesses, they have learned to harness their natural abilities and find work that aligns with them, and they’ve learned to trust themselves and their decision-making, from little to big decisions.

Who is your coaching ideal for, and what makes someone ready for this work?

If you’re a high-achieving professional who is service-oriented and empathic, and you need help taking your power back and living a life where you feel peace and fulfillment as a base point, I am here to help you!

How can someone know if it's time to schedule a clarity call with you?

It’s time to schedule a clarity call with me when what you’ve done hasn’t been working. It’s time if you feel stuck, crazy, and powerless. It’s time to schedule a call if you feel you’ve tried therapy or traditional coaching and none of it felt like it was deep or transformative enough.
