I have a question for my Moms and Busy Women. Remember the vision board party you went to or hosted at the end of 2021 or the beginning of 2022? What about the pretty pictures you cut out in hopes to motivate you to reach new levels in your overall wellness? I know I do.

Then, life began to do what it does best. Throw distractions, catapult discouragement, and take you completely off your path. The feeling of being overwhelmed and burned out makes it hard to stay on the right path with your healthy living goals. Soon, the vision on your board became such an afterthought, it hurts to even think about it.

As a health and wellness coach, I know how easy it can be to lose motivation and fall back into old habits, especially with the stresses of daily life. But don't worry, it's never too late to get back on track and start living your best life. Here are 3 simple methods that will help you get back on track:

Rediscover your Passion

Let’s revisit those vision boards you created at the beginning of the year. Take a moment to remember what inspired you to create them in the first place. What were your goals and aspirations for the year? Perhaps you wanted to prioritize your health and wellness, improve your relationships, or achieve a career milestone. Whatever it may be, it's important to hold on to that vision and use it as your motivation moving forward.

Redirect your Energy

Next, break down some practical ways to get back on track and start living a healthier lifestyle. First and foremost, prioritize self-care. It's easy to put your own needs on the backburner when you have so many responsibilities but taking care of yourself is crucial to your overall well-being. Make time for exercise, meditation, and other activities that bring joy and help you de-stress.

Restart

Lastly, focus on creating healthy habits. Start small and make gradual changes (it's much easier to stick with something when it doesn't feel overwhelming). Incorporate more fruits and vegetables into your diet (if you need help on how to evolve your mindset around eating healthier, check out this article), drink more water, and make sure you're getting enough sleep. These small changes can make a big difference over time.

Remember to stay positive and keep a growth mindset. Don't beat yourself up if you slip up or fall back into old habits – it happens to the best of us! Instead, use setbacks as an opportunity to learn, grow and glow! Celebrate your successes, no matter how small they may seem, and use them as motivation to keep going.

YOU'VE GOT THIS!

Let's make this year one of growth, positivity, and success. I am cheering for you all!
