Catrina "Tri" Francis is no stranger to burnout and its negative effects on the body. After facing stress-induced health challenges, including high blood pressure, obesity, TMJ, and migraines, she experienced neuro-exhaustion in the form of a stroke. Determined to heal, she immersed herself in complementary medicine, developing a holistic system that integrates Ayurveda, Reiki, Sound Healing, Chakra Attunements, Yoga, Assisted Stretching, and Neuroscience. Today, she blends her expertise in wellness and project management to empower others on their healing journeys, helping them achieve balance in mind, body, and spirit.

Catrina Francis, Integrative Frequency Specialist and Ayurvedic Practitioner
What techniques do you specialize in?
I specialize in a modality I created called Integrative Frequency Therapy. As an Integrative Frequency Specialist, I draw from a diverse foundation of certifications and studies in Ayurveda, Reiki, Functional Medicine, Sound Healing, Yoga, and Assisted Stretching, alongside extensive exploration of Herbalism, Neuroscience, and Energy Medicine.
By respectfully weaving these modalities together, I support individuals in down-regulating the brain and central nervous system, preventing and restoring the body from burnout, and offering care through neurodiversity, chronic illness, and even terminal conditions. This approach addresses the whole person, helping to regulate high blood pressure, ease chronic pain, and support recovery from seasonal illnesses. It’s a deeply collaborative and intuitive process that honors each person’s unique frequency and healing journey.
Why is what you do important?
In today’s culture of instant gratification and relentless hustle, we often neglect the rest and regulation our bodies need to stay in harmony. Many people seek validation externally, driving their minds, bodies, and spirits into a state of chronic exhaustion. This keeps the nervous system locked in a sympathetic state, like a car with the pedal to the metal and no brakes. Eventually, we run out of fuel and find ourselves unable to move forward. When we lose the ability to self-regulate, prolonged stress takes root. This can manifest as neurological disorders such as anxiety, ADHD, and depression, and physical conditions like high blood pressure, obesity, hormonal imbalances, insomnia, and chronic pain.
At LifeART Wellness, my role is to help people restore balance by regulating their nervous systems and developing customized lifestyle management plans tailored to their unique body constitution and goals. I also bring mindfulness and alternative wellness into the workplace, coaching both employees and leadership on how stress and burnout affect performance, and introducing creative communication, mobility practices, and problem-solving techniques rooted in Complementary and Alternative Mindfulness modalities. This work is about more than healing, it’s about helping people remember their wholeness, reclaim their rhythm, and live in alignment with their true frequency.
What inspired the creation of LifeART Wellness Co.?
At its core, LifeART Wellness Co. was born out of my own health struggles. I grew tired of the status quo teachings and treatments from doctors. I felt lost, knowing there was more out there, but unable to put my finger on it. My unquenchable thirst for knowledge and my unyielding mission to help myself, and eventually others, led me to create a wellness solution that is truly holistic, combining modalities and approaches that support people mentally, spiritually, and physically.
The actual clinic came to life because I wanted to create a place where people could relax and be themselves, a safe, forgiving space for when they’re ready to reconnect, heal, and grow.
How do you stay updated on new developments in health?
My goal is to help unlock the healthiest, most purpose-driven version of myself and my clients. I stay updated by following my intuition, tuning into areas where I feel I’m lacking or where I can grow and/or take topics from my clients. I then compare those insights with the modalities I’ve studied to see how they intermix or expand the foundation of my work.
From there, I explore accredited programs and dive deep into self-study, especially through books and resources on putative sciences. (These are scientific topics that challenge mainstream beliefs or cultural conditioning, often undefined or unexplainable at the time, and sometimes miscommunicated or misunderstood.) I find that exploring these areas helps me stay open-minded and innovative in my approach. I also collaborate regularly with like-minded experts like massage therapists, chefs, neurological chiropractors, herbalists, master growers, and spa directors, to round out my service offerings and stay connected to emerging practices in holistic care.
What does a typical session with a client look like?
Every client is unique, different lifestyles, body constitutions, and personalities, so I prioritize individualized, customizable care. Before we begin, I always conduct an introductory call to understand what the client feels their challenges are, what goals they’re working toward, and to share a bit about my approach and background. I often invite new clients to experience a sample session at the clinic. I understand that my services may be unfamiliar or unconventional to some, and seeing/feeling is believing. This initial experience helps build trust and clarity.
Most of my Integrated Frequency Sessions are completed onsite at the LifeART Wellness Clinic and include an assortment of services such as:
AccuSound Therapy
Assisted Stretching
Detoxification
Ayurvedic Diagnosis and Counseling
Intuitive Readings
NeuroDiversity Counseling
Soundbaths
I also offer remote services, including soundbaths and coaching sessions, to accommodate different needs and locations. Clients can choose between single services or curated packages. Repeat clients and package holders receive access to a personalized Client Portal, where they can journal, schedule appointments, and manage payments with ease.
Additionally, I collaborate regularly with a trusted network of practitioners, massage therapists, chefs, neurological chiropractors, herbalists, master growers, and spa directors, through a concierge-style referral program. This allows me to round out my offerings and stay connected to evolving practices in holistic care.
How do you see the field of Complementary/Alternative Medicine evolving in the next 5 years?
The field of Complementary and Alternative Medicine is poised for significant expansion over the next five years. This growth is fueled by a rising tide of consumer awareness around preventive care, integrative therapies, and the profound connection between mind, body, and spirit.
From my own conversations with clients, a recurring theme emerges, “I’m sick and tired of taking medicine.” Many feel reduced to a number in conventional healthcare systems, where trust is eroding and side effects often outweigh progress. For these individuals, the cycle of prescription and symptom management feels endless and disempowering.
This shift in sentiment is not anecdotal, it reflects a broader global movement. According to the 2024 Global Wellness Economy Monitor by the Global Wellness Institute, the wellness industry is projected to reach $9 trillion by 2028, cementing its role as one of the fastest-growing sectors worldwide.
In parallel, the CAM market itself is expected to surge from $144.68 billion in 2023 to $694.22 billion by 2030, growing at 25.3%. This includes increased adoption of modalities like Ayurveda, energy healing, sound therapy, and herbal medicine.
What new services or innovations will LifeART Wellness be introducing within the next 2 years?
In the next two years, LifeART Wellness will introduce a dedicated NeuroTherapies practice to support individuals navigating neurodiversity and neurological disorders, without medication. As I complete my Neurotherapy Certification, I’m focused on offering integrative, non-invasive care that honors each person’s unique nervous system and lived experience.
Public perception is shifting. More people are recognizing that mental illness and neurodivergence are common, and not tied to intelligence or capability. They’re reflections of how the central nervous system responds to the environment. And in many cases, these conditions can be managed holistically.
Clients often tell me, “I’m tired of taking medicine.” They feel unseen in traditional systems, where treatment leads to side effects and more prescriptions. LifeART Wellness will offer counseling and therapeutic support for children and adults, empowering individuals to manage neurodivergence through personalized, compassionate care.
