Let’s take a ride down a familiar route. You travel this same route weekly. You know every light, stop sign, and yield sign on your route. You can give detailed directions with landmarks to a lost visitor. You are the travel advisor of this route. But what happens when the fog is heavy on your route and you can barely see the car in front of you, or when the familiar landmarks are hidden?

What if the familiar route has become blurred with a delusional view. What do you do? Do you turn around and go back home? Do you call for help? No, if you are like me, you keep going on the route trusting your instinct and familiarity of the road to arrive safely to your intended destination. What if the fog only appeared for you to use what you already knew? What if the fog came to teach you to follow your own knowledge and wisdom to get you to your desired destination?

Occasionally, life will present times when a familiar route has a delusional view. You may feel blocked, delayed, or hindered, but if you trust your inner compass, you can arrive at your destination in perfect timing. Therefore, do not let the fog hinder your forward movement because every challenge and delay has an expiration date, and the fog will clear, and your destination will be in clear view.

Here are 3 tips on how to navigate the fog on your path.

F. O. G. (Follow, Optimistic, Guidance)

1. Follow – Trust your inner knowing. You are well equipped and designed specifically for your path.

2. Optimistic – Believe and only speak what you want to happen. Surround yourself with positivity.

3. Guidance – Pray, meditate, and stay present. Never stop learning and growing.
