Meghan Jarvis, WellCorp Health And Wellness

Introduce yourself! Please tell us about you and your life, so we can get to know you better.

I was a former World Class BMX bicycle racer from 5-15, and BMX was my life. I was number one in Canada for seven years and was racing in the world champion circuit in a different state or country every weekend. I was a complete tomboy growing up and spent most of my time with the guys down at the track. I went on to play competitive basketball for York University, where we came third in Canada and went on to become a Kinesiologist. I came to Australia to play professional basketball and stayed as a lead lecturer at the Australian Institute of Fitness after my studies. My passion for fitness and entrepreneurialism due to my father running his own Real Estate company and selling Real Estate in my summers off with him and my Mom running her own Counselling Business; this led me to want to found my own companies WellCorp Health and Wellness and Buzvil, a global health and fitness app.

I believe strongly in the importance of redefining and bridging the gap between physical health and mental health. I have guided many people to achieve complete personal breakthroughs and phenomenal mind, body, and business growth, and it is one of my passions. I've been mentored by and had the opportunity to collaborate with Tony Robbins, Gary Vaynerchuck and Kerwin Rae.

I most recently appeared as a stunt woman in the new Blockbuster 'Elvis', the Portable Door, Aqua Man, in TV Comedies; Darby and Joan, Joe Exotic, Young Rock, the Price is Right. I have also been a 'Ninja' on Channel Nine's Australian Ninja Warrior.

I am Total Gyms BDO, Suspension and Altitude Training International Master Coach and an international speaker. My experiences as an athlete, educational portfolio (Masters of Education and Coaching, Kinesiologist, Sports Scientist), entrepreneurial ventures, and enthusiastic character has shaped me as a formidable leader in health and fitness.

My hobbies and passions include wakeboarding, snowboarding and almost all extreme sports. I love doing stunt car driving or getting out on my boat or motorcycle. Aside from sports, I am incredibly close to my family back home in Canada and have a new amazing, adopted family here in Australia. We have a puppy named Nala who lights up our life.
