Exclusive Interview with Chi Quita Mack, MSW – The Mommy Life Coach, Soldier, Social Worker, Mentor, Speaker & Author

Who is Chi Quita? (Introduce yourself. Personal life, where do you live, family, any pets? ;) you get the picture).

I always laugh a little when I get asked this question as this question was the defining moment of when I decided to start my company The Chi Quita Mack, LLC. I am Chi Quita Mack, MSW, A Major in the United States Army, Social Worker, Author, Life Coach, wife of 14 years and mother of 3. I currently hold a Master of Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University, a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Military Science from West Virginia State University-Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU).

I am also the owner and founder of The Chi Quita Mack, LLC, a safe place I created for all women to come relax, get empowered, and be constantly reminded they have not lost the ability to be who they once were. I remind women we are more than just mommies with a positive mindset, attitude, and motivation, all those dreams that were set aside can come true.

I currently reside in the District of Columbia, Maryland, & Virginia (DMV) area. I began my journey in West Virginia when I had my son at the age of 21. I struggled for years to find my purpose, find happiness, and experience peace of mind. For years, I did not understand self-love or practice self-care until one day I was faced with answering the question, “Who am I?” That’s when I realized I had some self-discovering to do!

What is it that you do for your clients?

I help guide my clients back to the basics. I remind them that they were a whole woman before motherhood and that their feelings, goals, and dreams are just as relevant today as they were in the past. I teach my clients how to mindsetscreate a positive environment by changing their mindset. We create positive affirmations and begin our path to self-discovery (which includes self-love, self-care, & self-awareness).

It makes me smile when I see my clients slay and start making their dreams come true. Our minds are so powerful and in order to create a positive environment, we must speak it into existence.

Who should hire/work with you?

You should hire me if you are ready to:

  • EXPLORE who you really are, what makes you smile, get away from the woman who is just going through the motions and get back to the person you once were.

  • ACCEPT all that you are, step into a frame of gratitude and positivity, and become the confident woman you want to be because you know and love who you are.

  • BUILD your dreams and goals then create a plan to accomplish all you desire. Become the woman you are meant to be who feels CLEAR about who she is and what she loves.

  • Who is ready to become CONFIDENT in herself, her body, her mind, and FREE to go after her dreams and goals.

Tell us about your workbook “The Beauty in You: A Guide Created to Help You Discover the Best Version of You”

This is my baby! My workbook “The Beauty in You: A Guide Created to Help You Discover the Best Version of you” is your blueprint to self-discovery. This workbook will walk you through the essential process of re-discovering the woman you were before you became a mother, career woman, and/or wife. At the end of this workbook, you will feel like a new woman. You will feel refreshed, confident, and empowered to accomplish all the goals, dreams, and aspirations you once had on hold. I encourage you if you have not gotten your copy yet, to head over to my website today!

What is your big goal? Where do you see yourself in 10 years from now?

Wow! This is a good one! I would like The Chi Quita Mack, LLC to be known worldwide. To continue to be blessed, continue following my passion and inspire as many women as I can! Ladies…We Are More Than Just Mommies and Our Journey Goes Beyond Motherhood!

What are your Top 3 Tips within your expertise?

Always remember:

Your Journey Begins with “You”: You must put the work in and begin your journey to self-discovery no matter how difficult it may be. Self-Awareness is key!

Positive Thoughts Only: Create a positive environment. Practice those positive affirmations and speak about the changes you want to make in your life.

Celebrate where you are now: We often focus on where we have been and where we want to get too, but we never focus on where we are now! Celebrate all victories. I am proud of you and each day is better than the last.
