What inspired you to start Sierra Six Media, and what was your vision in the early days?

I founded Sierra Six after seeing too many businesses underserved by generic, short-term marketing solutions. I started the agency because there was a clear gap in the market—too many companies were relying on agencies that offered surface-level results and poor communication,” she explains.

The goal from the outset was to build something different: a transparent, results-driven agency that would act as a true partner.

“From the beginning, we wanted to be more than a service provider—we wanted to feel like an extension of our clients’ teams.”

Sierra Six Media operates in a competitive space. What sets your agency apart?

I believe the agency’s relentless focus on client retention and real results sets it apart. “We’re as committed to the clients we already have as we are to winning new ones,” she says. “Our best growth comes from doing great work and being recommended.”

Sierra Six also brings a rare blend of creativity and technical depth—particularly in how it leverages AI for content and campaign optimisation, while maintaining a sharp focus on SEO fundamentals like site speed, structured data, and user experience.

Many businesses struggle with SEO and PPC. What are the biggest misconceptions, and how do you help clients navigate them?

One of the most common misconceptions I’ve seen is expecting instant results. SEO is a long-term investment, while PPC requires time and testing to fully optimise. Another myth is that more traffic equals more success.

“It’s not about just getting traffic—it’s about getting the right traffic,” she says. “We stay focused on ROI, not vanity metrics.”

How do you stay ahead in such a fast-moving digital landscape?

For me, staying ahead starts with culture. At Sierra Six, we place strong emphasis on continuous learning, industry awareness, and internal testing before implementing strategies with clients.

“We’re proactive, not reactive. Whether it’s an algorithm update, a new AI tool, or a shift in user behaviour, we aim to be one step ahead so our clients don’t fall behind.”

What has been the biggest challenge in running your business, and what did it teach you?

Scaling while maintaining quality has been one of the biggest challenges. I’ve learned that sustainable growth comes from having the right people around me.

“I’ve learned that hiring for mindset and cultural fit is just as important as hiring for skill,” she says. “A strong, aligned team is everything.”

Can you share a standout client success story that really captures what Sierra Six is about?

One standout was an e-commerce business struggling with stagnant organic traffic and underperforming paid ads. We overhauled their SEO and PPC strategy—fixing technical issues, improving content, and rolling out smarter bidding.

Within six months, organic traffic had doubled, paid conversions rose by 70%, and cost per acquisition dropped significantly. “It was a real transformation, and a proud moment for our team,” Jade says.

What advice would you give to those looking to start or scale a digital marketing agency today?

I’d offer several key lessons:

  • Prioritise long-term relationships over short-term wins

  • Build a team that aligns with your values and vision

  • Keep learning—digital doesn’t stand still

  • Don’t undervalue your service

  • Protect your brand and reputation.

Jade Bartholomew’s story is one of strategic clarity, deep client care, and an unwavering focus on results. Sierra Six Media continues to carve out its space in a crowded industry by combining technical expertise with real-world impact. “We’re not chasing hype,” she says. “We’re here to create meaningful, measurable growth—and to do it with integrity.”

As the digital landscape evolves, Jade and her team are proving that sustainable success comes from staying smart, staying agile, and never losing sight of the people behind the numbers.
