Tell me about your journey to become a certified EFT Practitioner and how your personal experience with trauma influenced your decision to help others in this field?

A: Back in 2014, nothing in my life seemed to work—relationships, jobs, and more were all affected. That's when I discovered EFT Tapping, a technique that resonated with me deeply. After three years of Tapping on myself and working with practitioners, I knew I had something powerful to share with the world—my knowledge of Emotional Freedom Techniques combined with childhood trauma. My desire to make an impact and reduce people's suffering drove me to become a Certified EFT Practitioner.

What sets you apart as an EFT Practitioner specializing in inner child healing?

My approach to healing childhood trauma with EFT Tapping is unique. Through my own healing journey, I realized that trauma creates a disconnect between the adult version and the inner child. I cannot stress enough how important it is to verify which version is affected—the adult or the inner child. By taking care of both versions and creating a connection between them, I achieve faster and more profound results.

Clients come to me with all different kinds of issues. From anxiety, depression, to chronic health issues and more, I always tell them these are only symptoms. To get permanent change they need to get to the root cause of the issue. 80% of the time that cause lies in our childhood and the other 20% are past traumatic events that happen later in life.

To be honest, Tapping on the symptoms can offer immediate relief – It’s that powerful!

But the next day they start at the exact same place again. They would have to Tap for the rest of their lives around the same symptom to keep it in check. Once they clear those past events out, they get permanent results.

EFT Tapping is a powerful tool to neutralize the emotions tied to past traumatic events. Although the memory of the event remains, the emotional charge is removed. This creates feelings of safety in their lives. And that’s what I want my clients to walk away with.

Can you elaborate on the concept of inner child healing and its significance in achieving lasting and profound healing through EFT Tapping?

When trauma occurs, our bodies go into a fight, flight, freeze, or fawn response. And, consequently, the inner child and adult version may become disconnected. To achieve full results, we must identify which version is affected by the trauma and clear it with EFT Tapping. Then, we rebuild the connection between the adult version and the inner child.

My unique 3-step approach involves:

  1. Using EFT Tapping to clear past traumatic events from the adult version so that it’s in a better place to care for the inner child.

  2. Inner child work: addressing and clearing traumas from the inner child while re-establishing feelings of safety.

  3. Desired Outcome Visualization, where we move from relieved to empowered clients who can envision and achieve their full potential.

Trauma will freeze us in time and limit our beliefs in what we’re capable of. Through positive visualization, clients feel the possibility of reaching their goals, which motivates them to make positive changes in their lives.

Could you share a client success story that stands out to you, illustrating the power of Emotional Freedom Techniques in overcoming childhood trauma, and then how that helped the individual find a more fulfilling life?

Absolutely! I worked with a 75-year-old woman who had been suffering from chronic pain for a long time. Through our sessions, we discovered that her pain originated from childhood trauma. She was very dedicated, and together we were able to clear the root causes. As we did, she experienced a huge shift where her constant pain went from a twelve…to a four!

Over time, her life transformed—she became pain-free, happier, and found new enthusiasm for life.

You offer a free discovery call for anyone interested in seeing if your services are a good fit. What can clients expect during a free session with you?

In a free discovery session, I help clients uncover the root cause of their struggles. By exploring their issues, we identify potential traumatic events that might be affecting them. I explain the difference between tapping on symptoms versus addressing root causes, emphasizing the profound and lasting changes EFT Tapping can bring. It's a great opportunity for clients to determine if EFT Tapping aligns with their needs and goals.

Sometimes, individuals may have tried EFT Tapping in the past without achieving the desired results. How do you address their concerns and ensure they experience meaningful progress through your unique method?

It does happen: Clients might have had previous EFT experiences that didn't meet their expectations. To ensure meaningful progress, we address three potential reasons:

  1. The root cause of the issue was not fully addressed

  2. Not all aspects of trauma and the various ways it impacts their life was cleared and…

  3. They did not dive deep enough. It is so easy to mistake symptoms for the roots. Only a Certified Practitioner can safely guide and help you through these deeply traumatic events.

If a client is open to the process, I can help them find lasting results rather than temporarily soothing symptoms of trauma. I believe that makes the difference.

Looking ahead, what plans or aspirations do you have as an EFT Practitioner?

My future aspiration is to create a program focused on healing from childhood trauma.

During my work I have seen that certain patterns keep repeating for everyone.

I want to share my knowledge as a program to make healing these patterns available to more people.

The trick is, it is not recommended that clients work through deep trauma themselves as they can literally retraumatize themselves. My program will cover repeated patterns and allow clients to work on certain surface-level aspects themselves, while I continue to offer personalized 1:1 EFT sessions to clear out deep past traumatic events.

My goal is to share my knowledge and impact more lives, helping individuals find permanent healing and transformation.
