Moira Williams, Emotional Healer & Spiritual Teacher

Tell us about Pure Heart Centre and what motivated you to focus on heart centred healing.

Pure Heart Centre—is a virtual sanctuary for emotional healing, heart-centred training, and conscious leadership, based on the beautiful Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia.

My name is Moira Williams and I am the founder of Pure Heart Centre

I am very happy to share the journey that has shaped both this Centre and my own life. The work we do here is rooted in deeply personal experiences that have unfolded over years of learning, healing, and spiritual growth.

From an early age, I was sensitive to energies around me, but like many, I grew up in an environment where this sensitivity wasn’t well understood or nurtured. Childhood was often challenging, marked by both a short but strict religious upbringing and the unpredictability of a dysfunctional home. I remember one afternoon in particular, walking home from school, when I looked up at the sun breaking through the clouds in the sky. In that moment, a sense of peace and love washed into me. I thought to myself, “This feeling—this light, peace and warmth—is what I believe God to be, not the fearful teachings I’ve been told.”

That glimpse of unconditional love and light stayed with me and became an anchor that I returned to over and over, especially when life felt difficult.

This feeling—a connection to something greater—became a source of strength, a reminder that even in the darkest moments, there was a place within where I could find peace. It helped me navigate a sensitive nervous system and an early understanding of emotions that weren’t always easy to manage. My intuitive abilities emerged in unexpected ways: sensing people’s feelings, knowing things before they happened, or experiencing profound insights I couldn’t explain. Writing became my outlet, a way to express what I couldn’t share out loud, and over time, I began to understand that I was tapping into something beyond my own mind—a spiritual connection that felt both comforting and empowering.

What was the turning point that put you on the emotional healing journey for others?

In my late 30s, after many life experiences that tested my resilience and self-understanding, I felt a calling to explore healing in a more structured way. This led me to my first Reiki course. I had no prior knowledge of Reiki; I simply felt drawn to it. That weekend changed my life. For the first time, I felt a deep sense of home within myself—a feeling of connection and completeness that I hadn’t experienced before. I realised that healing wasn’t just about fixing what was broken; it was about reconnecting with an inner wholeness that had always been there.

From that point, I knew I wanted to help others find this connection within themselves. I went on to study massage, kinesiology, transpersonal and personal counselling, and other modalities that supported emotional healing. I began to understand the powerful link between our emotional, physical, and spiritual selves. Alongside this, astrology became a significant guide. I learned that I was here to be an emotional healer—to help others release their burdens and reconnect with their inner strength.

As my practice grew, I found that each healing session brought me as much peace as it did my clients. Channelling healing energy felt like a natural gift, one that flowed effortlessly when I opened myself to it. It didn’t feel like work; it felt like purpose, a way to be fully present with others as they journeyed through their own healing.

Creating a structured business around this work, however, didn’t come easily. Life continued to present me with personal growth experiences, teaching me to let go, stay grounded, and trust the journey. It was humbling, learning to surrender and receive from life rather than trying to control every outcome. I learned that my spiritual growth was the cornerstone as it opened me to other aspects of spiritual healing I would not have understood if I had not personally experienced it.

These experiences had me living between two worlds experiencing the effect of “dark” spiritual energies and how they influenced the behaviour of others. I found when connecting with clients, these energies were transmuted to Light and clients gained the clarity they needed to make different choices.

Building a foundation working with Light energies, I found as a child, and self-trust became the bedrock of everything Pure Heart Centre would eventually offer.

Did you ever want to give up?

During these years, I faced judgment and doubt from those who couldn’t understand why I was drawn to this path. For many, success is measured in material terms, and they found it difficult to relate to a life driven by inner growth and spiritual fulfillment. But I came to realise my personal rhythm with life was very different to many others.

My biggest lesson was learning how to receive from life, to let go of the need to constantly “do” and instead allow life to guide me and observe how manifestation occurred in perfect timing. This became the heartbeat of Pure Heart Centre: a place where others could feel safe to explore, receive, and trust in their own healing and manifestation.

As my journey continued, I realised that understanding my own emotions and spiritual gifts was only the beginning. Life offered many lessons in resilience, often bringing me back to that moment as a child when I looked up at the light. Each challenge, every loss or setback, taught me to return to this inner light, reaffirming, “I am in the light.” The experiences with clients, my own family, and the energy I worked with daily deepened my understanding of how our emotions and spirituality are deeply intertwined.

Working with clients from all walks of life, I discovered that healing was as much about unlearning as it was about learning. Unlearning the fears, doubts, and patterns we’ve absorbed throughout our lives, and reconnecting with a deeper, truer part of ourselves. The essence of Pure Heart Centre became about guiding others to feel empowered and connected to their own spiritual journey, free from the constraints of societal expectations or past wounds.

Who else shares your vision at Pure Heart Centre?

Today, I am blessed to share this vision with a team who embody the values of Pure Heart Centre. Laura Williams, Jess Williams, and Aknes Kendra each bring unique gifts and perspectives that enrich our offerings. Together, we have supported young women in finding their voice, helped couples rediscover emotional connection, and held retreats that invite people to step away from the noise to reconnect with themselves.

During the pandemic, we adapted to the times, transitioning many of our services online. This period allowed us to reach even more people through courses and community gatherings, expanding the Pure Heart Centre into a Virtual Property—a safe, supportive space where anyone, regardless of location, can begin a grounded, heart-centred journey. Our work continues to be grounded in the belief that healing is a personal journey, but one that flourishes within a compassionate community and then ripples into life to create more of what is desired in the world, love and peace!

How do you see Pure Heart Centre expanding?

In the past few years, more people are embracing spirituality not as a means of escape, but as a path to deeper self-discovery, connection, and freedom. Here at Pure Heart Centre, we believe in keeping spirituality grounded—making it practical, applicable, and aligned with living a life of integrity and love.

Our vision is to create a physical space where individuals can visit and experience healing in its many forms, whether through one-on-one consultations, group retreats, courses, or community gatherings. Our present Virtual Property is an extension of this vision, allowing us to connect with people no matter where they are in the world, and to nurture a heart-centred community that grows and evolves together.

For me, Pure Heart Centre is not just a place or a business; it is the foundation of my life’s journey—a journey that has taught me to trust in my own light, to embrace the power of connection, and to share this with others.
