It's very hard to stay in a state of trust when you're having a hard time in your business. It's a challenge to focus on the positives when you can't seem to get past a roadblock. How do you get yourself back on track or stay in tune with your intuition when you feel like you're not getting anywhere?

Intuition is a wise inner voice and knowing that comes from beyond the mind. It’s innate knowledge, wisdom and instinctual, intelligence that lies within us all. It’s a feeling that is accessible to all of us, but you may have to tune in, to hear it.

Consider the words… in-tune and intuition, makes perfect sense, right?

In this article I will share some tips about how to trust your gut and how to have unwavered resilience.

But first, what even is intuitive instinct and knowing?

Intuition is a powerful human resource that often goes untapped, especially in business. Instincts are established through years of experience, yet when presented with a problem, we don’t usually pay close attention to what our gut is guiding us towards.

The truth is, as empathic operators, we have to learn to trust ourselves as we evolve our businesses. We can ramp up our perceptive abilities but we have to believe its accuracy first!

While doing research is important, when it comes to people and making hard decisions, it can be helpful to trust your gut.

Having a strong intuition really is a mighty trait to have in business, it allows us to make quick judgments and know we’re on the right path.

You can consider intuition like a muscle, the more you use it, the stronger it gets. The more you trust, the stronger your conviction, which in turn provides an unwavering power in times of doubt or distraction. So are you ready to start give your intuition a work out?

Some tips to amplify your intuitive knowing.

  • Practice makes perfect. The more you use it, the better it gets

  • Make and act on your intuitive insights in less than a minute

  • Work smarter, not harder. Use your intuition to follow through with clarity

  • Improve and trust your perception of others to make more confident decisions

  • Take time to reflect on when you have consciously decided to back yourself, how did it play out?

To leverage or not to leverage? That is your question

Using intuition, provides alternative problem-solving capabilities. Have you ever had a hunch or feeling about someone without having any logic for it?

Sometimes you're trying to make a decision and things don’t go the way you’d like them to. You keep having bad luck, or others try to warn you about something but you don’t listen. Maybe you don’t want to listen.

These are just a few examples of intuition showing up to guide you. If you've ever had an unmistakable feeling about someone in the past, it might be powerful to reflect now, on how things turned out back then? There are secret advantages of paying attention to your empathic traits.

Has there ever been some internal intuitive knowledge that you ignored? Was there some deep awareness that you overrode with rationale?

“It can be easy to have knowings, the harder part is following through on them, especially if it’s the opposite of what you want”.

Holding true to what you intangibly believe and listening to your intuitive voice rather than sensibilities, will more often than not, prove out to be the right path.

I have had clients tell me they had a foreknowing which turned out to be a six-sense that helped them avoid a catastrophe.

Sometimes we don’t even 'know' what is going to happen or what will happen next, but we deeply know, we 'have' to take that first step.

I understand these trepidations, but I also believe there are very good reasons, things work out the way they do.

Maybe it's something you want, but for some reason you're not ready for it. Or maybe it's something you are ready for, but there is some additional unknown next step that doesn’t become apparent until after the events have unfolded.

All is not as it seems, seeing is not believing.

Often, we have a deep-rooted desire that it’s something we’re 'supposed to do', but are afraid to follow through.

Ultimately trying to resist, might be fighting what is truly meant to happen for reasons beyond comprehension today. It can be frustrating but sometimes we just have to be patient and trust all is happening for our growth and absolute benefit. Trusting ourselves in these moments can bring such peace and certainty. Time and time again ambitious leaders have proven that paying attention to our internal guidance system really does pay off.

Whether you realise it or not, you use your intuition all the time. Sometimes, you'll trust it. Sometimes, you won't. Sometimes, you'll blame it for mistakes you make. Sometimes, you'll thank it for helping you when you needed it. But one thing's for sure, there are certain situations where you should use discernment over anyone else’s advice.

The good news is that more people are amplifying their intuitive radar and using it as an internal moral compass, as a clear signal to whatever our empathic gifts are trying to bring to our attention.

If you pay attention to your own unique intuitive signs, it should reduce your stress and help you stay on course, reducing your ability to be easily swayed from what’s in your best interests and highest good.

Truly, all you have to do is pay attention and follow your own instincts for personal fulfilment and success.

If you struggle to trust yourself or need support to having unwavering resilience for your future goals, reach out, I’d love to help you to amplify your intuitive knowing.
