A life in progress

This is a story about society and education, and what both of them mean to me. I am going from place to place, working to get my name engraved with the title of U.S. POTUS candidate for 2028. That is a big goal, and I do not say it lightly. But the work behind it is plain, daily work: showing up, learning, serving, and keeping a record of it all so the next person can find it.

As of this morning, I am a new member of the Moore Chamber of Commerce. I am now a philanthropist, and I have money en route to the University of Phoenix Foundation. Today, I am doing the Veterans History Project. All of the work is complete. All I have to do now is edit the footage. My bills are paid on time, days in advance. That matters to me. Stability is not a small thing. It is the ground everything else stands on.

I have submitted my DD-214 to the American Legion, and I have been to the Oklahoma Historical Society. A couple of days ago, I became a member of the Better Business Bureau here in Oklahoma. At the Metropolitan Library downtown in Oklahoma City, I was interviewed by a lady named Meg for a whole hour. We did not get everything taken care of, but a whole hour of my story has now been told. That is why I keep notes on what I write and what is going on. I want to put it in a museum so that people looking for me can come back and actually see that I am in a museum or a library.

I have also tried to get a street named after me. There are two options: either you have to be deceased, or you have to know a developer. So, my goal is to work with the Chamber of Commerce and gradually work my way up to see what I can get, traditionally, positively, and wholesomely, with innovation and new ideas, without taking anything away from anyone else.

An honest look: Strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats

I believe in looking at my own work honestly, so here is my strategy, in that order.

  • My strengths: With The Kimberly Cloud Show, I evaluate and bring new material every week. Something is new about it, or something new is being introduced. The show does not stand still.

  • My weaknesses: I do not have any employees. Everything I build, I build myself, and that limits how much I can do at once.

  • My opportunities: I am trying to go beyond just a mere source, a one-line source, and not become a parallel source of what I want to do for the future. I want to build something that stands on its own.

  • My threats: People try to spam me, and I do not like that. Spam wastes the time and trust that real community work depends on.

Education is the reason for this story

The reason for this whole synopsis is to talk about my education and what it means to me. On November 9, 2026, I will graduate with my second master's degree, and I am proud of myself because I have come a long way. The full degree is a Master of Science in Management, Organizational Leadership, and Change. It means a lot to me to feel proud and to take a leap of faith in knowing what I need to do next.

I am in the last two classes of my graduate school work. Today, I have to complete my assignments for the week, and they will be completed today. I want people to know that it took work. It is not easy. It is easier when you know strategy, but if you put someone with an associate's degree into a master's program and they do not know real strategy, they will fail. Strategy is the difference.

My goals are to maintain a steady, cohesive, and gradual increase in stability in education and work ethics, and to make one person feel proud to be a member of the community and of society as a whole. If one person feels that, the work was worth it.

The show, my health, and what comes next

I am balancing my mental health with doing what I need to do for the future of my show. Both matter, and neither one can be left behind.

My future goal is to find a new podcast networking service. I think I have overstayed my welcome with Matchmaker FM. They did some good, but now it is becoming a spam type of thing for me personally. However, I may possibly keep them until I can get on my feet with another one.

I have an accurate business plan for what I want for my business. My business consists of three plans that I will not discuss here because I do not want to promote them. What I do is a paid service, but because I love what I do, I do it for free when I can.

5 essential steps for business growth

You can have all of the ingredients, but if you do not have community engagement within your business, your business will go nowhere. These are the five steps I live by:

  1. Know your strategy before you scale. Strategy is what carries you when the work gets hard.

  2. Engage your community. Talk with people, listen to people, and be present where you live and work. Without community engagement, a business goes nowhere.

  3. Bring something new every week. Evaluate what you made, keep what works, and introduce something fresh so people have a reason to come back.

  4. Build steadily and gradually. A cohesive, gradual increase in stability beats a fast rise that cannot hold.

  5. Give back as you grow. Philanthropy and service are part of the business, not an afterthought. When you love what you do, you do it for free when you can, and that giving is what turns customers into community.

Thank you for reading my story. I am still learning, still building, and still proud of how far I have come. I hope what I leave behind is knowledge for the next person, in a museum or a library, where anyone looking for me can find it.
