Ready to put theory into practice? Let’s dive into the robust framework of the 7 Conscious Leadership Archetypes, a transformative model that has been instrumental in my journey and the journeys of many visionary leaders. These archetypes represent distinct energies that can shape how you lead your life, business, and teams, taking you from ordinary to extraordinary leadership.

But how do these archetypes work, and more importantly, how can you harness them to elevate your leadership?

What is a soul contract?

A Soul Contract is a blueprint of your life encoded in your birth name and date, mapping your challenges, strengths, and purpose. It's rooted in ancient spiritual traditions and brings profound clarity about your life path. Introduced to me in 2009, this concept has guided my decisions and shaped my business and personal life in extraordinary ways.

This series focuses on the 7 Conscious Leadership Archetypes based on the soul contract. Each archetype represents a different path toward conscious leadership, inviting you to explore your positive and negative aspects. Here’s an exclusive look at the seven archetypes, beginning with the ones that might surprise and inspire you the most.

1. The perfectionist and the anchor (10-1)

Have you ever felt the relentless drive to perfect things while desiring stability and grounding in your leadership? The 10-1 archetype merges the energy of the Perfectionist, who strives for flawless outcomes, and the Anchor, a stabilising force that grounds vision into reality.

Ask yourself: How often do I push for perfection in my work? Does this quest sometimes create tension in my team or within myself?

The positive aspect of the Perfectionist is the ability to elevate your business by upholding high standards but beware—when unchecked; it can lead to stagnation. Conversely, the Anchor provides a necessary counterbalance, offering patience, consistency, and reliability in leadership. Integrating these dual aspects allows you to align with your highest potential.

2. The visionary and the self-centred (4-4)

The 4-4 archetype represents visionary leadership at its finest. If you dream big and can see beyond the immediate, you resonate with the Visionary. However, without balance, this can shift into the Self-Centred archetype, where ego-driven motives replace service-led leadership.

Consider: Are my leadership decisions aligned with a higher vision, or does personal gain sometimes drive them?

The Visionary is a force for innovation, inspiring teams and organisations to greatness. By learning to trust the flow of the universe, as I have, leaders with 4-4 energies can manifest abundance and success. However, the shadow side—the Self-Centred leader—often arises when there is a lack of trust, leading to control and self-serving behaviours.

3. The powerhouse and the dictator (9-9)

The 9-9 archetype holds immense power. Leaders with this archetype are either powerhouses channelling influence for positive change or risk becoming dictators, dominating and controlling those around them.

Ask yourself: Am I using my power to empower others, or am I holding on too tightly to control?

The Powerhouse is magnetic, exuding strength, resilience, and the ability to lead with authority. On the flip side, unchecked power can manifest as the Dictator, creating fear-based environments where innovation is stifled. As a leader, embracing the 9-9 archetype means owning your power responsibly.

4. The teacher and the martyr (3-3)

The Teacher archetype brings wisdom, patience, and the desire to nurture others. Leaders embodying this archetype inspire those around them, creating ripples of transformation. However, the shadow side—the Martyr—can lead to overextending oneself, often to the detriment of self-care.

Consider: Am I teaching and guiding from a place of strength, or am I sacrificing too much for others?

As a Teacher, you are called to share your knowledge and elevate your team. The challenge comes when you slip into martyrdom, taking on too much and burning out. Leaders with the 3-3 archetype must learn to balance giving with receiving, recognising that self-love is critical to sustaining their leadership.

5. The counsellor and the self-centred (13-4)

The 13-4 is an archetype of counsel and healing, closely tied to Christ's Consciousness. As a Counsellor, you are deeply empathetic, guiding others through transformation. However, the flip side of this nurturing energy can manifest as being overly Self-Centred, focusing too much on your wounds and needs.

Reflect: Am I guiding others from a place of compassion, or have I become too inwardly focused?

By embracing the Counsellor, leaders can help others ascend to new heights. Yet, it's crucial to heal personal wounds to avoid falling into self-centredness, where personal challenges overshadow the needs of those you lead.

6. The catalyst and the control freak (7-7)

The 7-7 archetype is about being a Catalyst—someone who sparks transformation and links people together. Leaders with this archetype are innovators who shake up the status quo and drive evolution within their organisations.

Do I create change and growth, or am I gripping too tightly to control outcomes?

While the Catalyst brings fresh perspectives, the Control Freak seeks to dominate, fearing uncertainty. Leaders with this energy must learn to trust the process and relinquish rigid expectations to embody the archetype’s potential for transformative leadership.

7. The creative and the bull (6-6)

Finally, we reach the 6-6 archetype—the Creative who brings innovation and artistic flair to leadership. This archetype helps you think outside the box and inspires your team to explore new ideas.

Consider: Am I allowing space for creativity in my leadership, or has stubbornness taken hold?

The Creative thrives on innovation, but the shadow—the Bull—can become entrenched in rigidity, resisting change and new perspectives. To harness this archetype, you must balance imagination and practical implementation and stay open to new leadership methods.
