Everybody wants to do things faster, quicker, sooner and jump from one thing to the next day on day.

If you’re employed, deadlines are set and you often have crazy amounts of work piling up.

Expectations can feel unrealistic, but the speed that which “jobs” must be done or “to-do lists” have to be done just does not stop.

Let’s slow down.

So now, I encourage you to try this. Take a moment right now, as you read this to breathe.

Tongue at the roof of your mouth, close your eyes and with an awareness and gentleness, inhale and exhale through the nose for a few breaths. Allow your body to sway slowly and gently too. Now open your eyes and draw your attention to how you feel. Consider what has changed.

I encouraged my client to slow down their movement this morning. Here’s how she described the experience:

“It was interesting. The dichotomy between my brain and my body when we were going slow was weird. Slowing down the brain is not as easy as I thought it would be and there was a disconnect that I didn't enjoy but going slow does have a different impact and is fun to try.”

Does this resonate with you?

Yes, learning to slow down and calm your mind takes focus and practice. It isn’t easy when you live in a fast-paced world.

When I train myself, I really try to engage with my movements and create synchronicity and alignment between my breathing and my movement.

One of the greatest struggles we face as people today in a fast-paced world is giving ourselves the opportunity to slow the pace.

You are invited to discover how to achieve this with your fitness and resilience.

Have more fitness, strength & awareness of movement whilst having less stress and pain.
