If organizations were to focus on improving the overall mental well-being of their employees to increase productivity, decrease absenteeism rates, create a healthy work environment, and strengthen team dynamics, naturally affecting their bottom line, what type of therapy should they promote?

Four people sit cross-legged meditating on a wooden floor in a bright coworking office, calm and focused.

While it is important for employees to seek the right types of therapy to achieve the right results, what if there is a modern therapeutic methodology that produces quicker, more profound, and longer-lasting results, but organizations are not tapping into it right now?

Most common types of traditional therapy

  • Cognitive behavioural therapy

  • Humanistic therapy

  • Psychoanalytic therapy

  • Psychodynamic therapy

  • Integrative and holistic therapy

  • Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy

  • Exposure therapy

  • Interpersonal therapy

  • Mentalization-based therapy

  • Hypnosis

  • Hypnotherapy

A modern therapeutic methodology emerging worldwide

"Rapid Transformational Therapy®, RTT®"

RTT® is a unique, efficient, and effective methodology created and founded by Marisa Peer. Marisa has worked as a traditional therapist for over 40 years, first in England and now in Dubai. She is also a successful author of many books. In 2015, she began teaching her RTT® methodology to students worldwide, and the program now has over 20,000 graduates.

Marisa travels the world to give RTT® seminars and deliver RTT® sessions to various clients, including royalty, prominent celebrities, Olympic athletes, and CEOs. Her RTT® methodology has received multiple international awards and gained incredible momentum worldwide.

At its foundation, Marisa created RTT® because she wondered why it took so long for her clients to achieve quick and concrete results through traditional therapy. Therefore, RTT® was created, and the results are reflected in the name itself, Rapid Transformational Therapy®.

RTT® is unique because we explore the root, cause, and reason behind someone’s issues. It is not a band-aid solution that focuses only on treating symptoms. We help clients heal the root cause of what is really happening, interrupt underlying patterns and fixed mindsets, and guide clients towards living the lives they were meant to live while teaching them how to maintain healthy minds.

People bring their home life to work and their work life home

It has somehow become customary in the workforce for employees to share personal details about what they are experiencing in their personal lives, whether those experiences are good, bad, or anything in between. However, when the boundaries surrounding what should and should not be shared become blurred, it is never a good thing, especially when what they bring is negativity.

Life challenges and obstacles are inevitable because that is simply what life is. Life is full of ups and downs. However, it becomes a problem when people bring the effects of challenges and obstacles from their home lives into the workplace, and vice versa.

The consequences? Employees’ productivity is negatively affected. Their ability to concentrate on the task at hand is impaired. Mistakes can and will arise as a result. Overall work ethic suffers. Speaking about and hearing constant negativity creates an unhealthy work environment. A lack of cohesion negatively affects team dynamics.

Absenteeism may increase if the issues persist. Employees may take short or long-term leave if they do not receive proper assistance. Some employees never return to work, leaving the organization responsible for hiring replacements. All of these scenarios naturally affect the organization’s bottom line. If employees are suffering, then the organization suffers.

Moreover, what happens when employees bring their work lives home? Family dynamics are negatively affected. Relationships with spouses, partners, and children suffer. Tension arises. People easily lose sight of what is truly important, and unfortunately, separations and divorces may occur.

The cycle repeats itself because employees bring their home lives to work the next day. Nothing is ever resolved. The vicious cycle only continues. To break this cycle, employers need to recognize that employees may need a different kind of assistance, one that uses a therapeutic modality that promotes quicker, concrete, and profound results.

Bridging the gap between personal and professional excellence

This is my purpose, and this is what I do. I am an RTT® Practitioner and Certified Hypnotherapist, as well as a Rapid Transformational Coaching®, RTC®, Success Coach. I am a proud graduate of the Marisa Peer School.

I am the creator and founder of Living Life Above, and I have been doing this work for four years. I wholeheartedly believe that people need to heal their personal lives at a deep and profound level in order to excel professionally. Ultimately, the goal is to evolve both personally and professionally.

I have 15 years of experience in the private sector, as well as 15 years of experience in the public sector. I have been an employee, a coworker, and a supervisor. I have heard and participated in many conversations that inevitably affected overall productivity among individuals and teams. I have seen positive work environments crumble because of a few negative employees. I have seen employees take short and long-term leaves of absence, and I have witnessed employees never return to work.

Some people are very good at masking what is really happening deep inside. However, I would argue that this only lasts for a certain amount of time before it boils over and hijacks the way they function.

Overall, I have seen and felt the shift as organizations move from being proactive about their employees’ well-being to reactively trying to stay afloat.

A solution for bridging the employee well-being gap

What if employers could avoid this by offering their employees a different therapeutic methodology with a different track record? What if part of the problem lies within the solution currently being offered? What if RTT® is a better fit for some, or even most, employees?

What if offering RTT® to employees is a solution that brings about real, concrete, and profound change in their lives? What if employees heal from past wounds and trauma in less time than traditional therapy may require? What if employees overcome their challenges and obstacles because they have healed from past trauma and learned to adopt a growth mindset?

What if the organization’s bottom line improves significantly because employees have learned better and longer-lasting life strategies? What if employees truly enjoy coming to work and contribute to a positive work environment over the long term?

RTT® as an overall solution is certainly worth exploring in greater depth. Over the past couple of years, I have approached different organizations with this solution. However, hesitation exists because people are afraid to change the status quo surrounding how society treats mental health.

I always use the phrase “maintaining a healthy mind” instead of “treating mental health” because the latter may carry a negative connotation, suggesting that something is wrong with the person rather than encouraging us to understand what happened in that person’s past that caused them to think, feel, and react as they do.

This is what requires deep and profound healing. This is what I offer, and this is how I change people’s lives.

How can RTT® affect physical health and lifelong behaviours?

Research into neuroplasticity has shown that we can rewire our minds, which is why the mind has some of the most powerful potential on the planet. The RTT® methodology uses hypnosis to access the subconscious mind.

The subconscious mind is where underlying patterns and fixed mindset issues from childhood and young adulthood may reside. By using RTT® to access the subconscious mind, we can create new neural pathways and replace old, limiting beliefs and behaviours learned early in life with new, empowering ones.

RTT® sessions can help people address old issues, childhood trauma, anxiety, stress, grief, addictions, self-sabotage, anger, depression, procrastination, lack of motivation, difficulty concentrating, fear of public speaking, low confidence, and low self-esteem. They can then experience greater personal freedom in both their personal and professional lives.

In essence, the use of RTT® can improve overall mental well-being and help people excel in their lives within a shorter period of time.

If you are a CEO, GM, director, DG, manager, supervisor, or another organizational leader, and this speaks to you, consider whether you want to continue investing in maintaining your employees’ healthy minds while significantly improving your bottom line.

If what you have offered your employees is simply not producing the results you hoped for, contact me here, call 613 797 8096, or visit the website. I would be honoured to help you move forward in the best possible way for your organization.
