Creating a business and the success that comes along with it can be one of the most exhilarating feelings in the world, besides the obvious side effects of having a successful business, such as revenue and the number of people impacted, other benefits such as promotions, awards, or ways to grow and stretch ourselves personally.

When getting to the next level of success in your business, it is important to ask yourself what this success entails. Questions like “what does success look like to me” or “what goals do I want to achieve” need to be clear in your mind. But, you have decided on these new goals you want to achieve next. How do you create these new experiences?

Through my award-winning coaching business, I’ve seen my clients successfully hit their goals easily by implementing my 5-step success process after being stuck on the same level for a long time. It is such an amazing way to align ourselves with our new goals and dreams, and I want the same for you. So today, I am sharing with you my 5-step process in my latest article for Brainz Magazine, the 5 Steps To Embody Your Next Level of Success. I hope you enjoy it!

The universe we live in is made of energy. We are made of energy. The chair you sit on. The bed you sleep in at night. Everything is energy, and all of it is part of our vibrational experience. When you're talking about embracing the next level in your business, you must learn how to use this knowledge to your advantage to make it as easy as possible on yourself. Because you can create anything, you desire.

When you opened this article, you may be wondering how you can create the next level of success or the next level in your business. Maybe you are struggling to believe you can deal with imposter syndrome or generally feel whether you are not good enough. The first thing it's most important is to acknowledge where you're at because if we don't know where you're at, we don't know where we are going.

Those “negative” feelings or nudges from inside are actually very powerful to help you create the next level of success you desire. But how do you embody this new vision you crave? Let me explain.

Step 1 - Decide

First of all, you have to decide what you do want to achieve! Is it more clients? More impact? Better work-life balance? Hire more staff and have more time off? What is it you want to create for yourself? Watch out for the shoulds, though, you know, the things you think you should be doing. That’s not what I am talking about here. I need you to be honest with yourself and decide what you want (use any “negative” feelings to help you get clear), so we know in what direction you are going. Write this down in a journal or a piece of paper.

Step 2 - Observe

Step two is always a very interesting one. Once you get clear on what you are wanting, pay attention to what comes up for you. Our minds have a funny habit of wanting to keep us at our current level. Common things to come up is:

  • Who am I to want that?

  • I could never do that.

  • I don’t know how to make that happen

  • This is not the right time

  • I can’t have both

Write down any negative belief that is trying to convince you. You cannot have what you desire. And yes, this may mean you end up with a few pages full of reasons.

Step 3 - Question

When allowing yourself to embody your new level of success, it is important to recognize how helpful your emotions guide you towards the new experiences you desire.

As you go back to your list, ask yourself the following questions:

  • Is it ultimately true I cannot have X?

  • Is it the highest truth?

  • Or could something else also be true?

  • What could that be?

So, for example, if you want to cut back on the hours, you work to spend more time with the family. Still, every time you do, something happens in the business that requires your immediate attention. I highly recommend using the question to discover any patterns. What I see with my clients often is a belief that has to do with trust. They don’t trust themselves to step back and trust others to keep the business going. So every time they try, something comes up.

Step 4 - Reframe

As you have written out your thoughts and feelings that come up and asked yourself these questions, it is time to reframe them in a more powerful, aligned, and empowering way. Lovingly look at the stories you tell yourself and see if you can rewrite the story. Using the example from my coaching business, “cutting back hours to spend time with the family,” under step 3, it could be go something like this:

  • I want to cut back my hours, but every time I try, it never seems to work.

  • Is it ultimately true I cannot have enough time off and run my business? No, because I know people who do manage to do both.

  • Is it the highest truth? No, because in this vibrational world, anything is possible.

  • Could something else also be true? Yes.

  • What could that be? Perhaps, it would be possible to do things differently, even though I don’t know how yet.

Start looking at each and single one of your limiting thoughts from step 2 and use this process to shift your energy. As you can see from the example, this client shifted from it wasn’t possible to it is possible I don’t know how (that’s why they hired me!). As you keep working through these, you will discover that in the end, anything is possible if you believe it can be in your reality.

Just keep on going and reframing it until you get to a point where you think: “you know what, I can actually do this.”

Step 5 - Embody

Last, but most certainly not the least important, step is step 5 of this process. As you move through the process and discover how you are keeping yourself from your next level and start to uncover what could happen for you, it is important to start allowing yourself to feel the new thing/desire/activity to be true. That emotion, that new vibration, is how you embody your next level of success.

Imagine how you would feel knowing you have what it takes to create this next level for yourself. You know you are worthy, you are enough, it is done, and it is on its way to you. How would you feel in this red hot minute if you receive a phone call or a notification on your phone saying that x clients signed up, the money is in your bank account, or the award has been won. How would that feel for you?

For me, the biggest thing was that I decided that I was no longer available for struggle. I struggled enough, I've done my fair share, and there is no one amount of extra struggling I have to do to prove that I am good enough and worthy of my dreams, desires, and goals. I made this decision. I am done. I'm no longer available.

This did for me, and I see the same with my clients because it allowed me to shift into new possibilities as I was no longer available for the old. I choose to align myself with things that are fun, easy, and satisfying. I get to create the life I desire, allowing me to have the success I desire on my terms. I am worthy of anything I desire. And so are you.

Conclusion

This powerful process works, but it's up to you to start implementing it. Allow yourself a new way of creating, a new way of success (did someone say ease), and a new way of being. However, this process only works if:

  • You decide you are worthy.

  • You have to decide (and believe) what you want is possible

I’ve used this 5-step success process within my award-winning coaching business time and time again. And it shows that real, sustainable long-term success, wellbeing, health, and wealth are possible. You decide.
